I have purchased from SD since 2014
I have purchased from SD since 2014, BUT they no longer are interested in keeping me as a customer. I have had the following problems with them: Website ordering and bank connection issues. Serious communication issues, especially since I have a severe hearing problem. Customer service hung up on me when I asked to speak to a superior. THEY canceled an order I placed but still charged over $720 market loss plus cancellation fees.

Great precious metals merchants
SD Bullion has been my goto precious metal site online. Their prices are competitive and their offerings are among the best available. They keep a close eye on the present spot price of the metals and price accordingly. Well worth your shopping time! I have bought gold and silver of varying denominations and they have delivered correctly and very quickly. Their purchase offerings make for easy transactions.
Super deceptive
Super deceptive. You have to look past the picture and title and read past the description to a note at the bottom of the page to lean that the picture, title and description are not accurate. It is literally the last two words on the page other then the satisfaction guarantee,..which is a lie. They had another listing for the same product that had an accurate picture, title, and description. That is what convinced me and why I stopped reading after the description. It has to be intentional deception. I was buying 3 gifts to give to kids for easter but they sent me the 3 orders in 1 plastic flip. I requested to exchange for what the picture, title, description, and other listing led me to believe I had bought and they basically told me to f-off. I would not trust them and of you are going to buy something make sure to read ever word on the page, especially the last two words because that is where they tell you the truth

SD Bullion requires the use of PLAID…
SD Bullion requires the use of PLAID payment system. Most people probably do not realize it but Plaid accesses your account details - balances and transaction. You should not use any merchant that gathers such information. AVOID SDBullion unless you are willing to pay the credit card fees - probably better to just use a different dealer, one that accepts wire transfers or ACH
Bad decision SD.
I have purchased thousands of dollars from SD Bullion. Both my wife and I over $100,000. Today, I received $15,000 in gold eagles. When I sent in my payment, I asked if they would send my coins in capsules. My request was denied. I even called and simply asked if they would send me 2 capsules for my gold eagles. Again, I was denied. They made a very bad decision. I will never buy from them again. Monument Metals has always honored this request. Sorry SD, you just lost thousands in business over 2 capsules. I hope you are happy with your decision.

It seems to take some time for my orders to be filled. Premiums seem to be fair. Most items that I am interested in are usually in stock. I haven't had to use customer service (which is a positive thing). So far, this is the only company that I have ordered from. Can't see any reason to change.
