High quality food. Much better than I know how to cook myself! Lots of cuisine options. Fun and easy to pick entrees, sides, salads. I got healthier using this service. Delivery is smooth and reliable. Definitely try it! You'll save so much time and effort.

There is something really strange about this site. When I first logged in and filled out the questions, I was quoted a price of about $55. Then it told me to add the meals that I wanted. I was allowed six. I did so. The price immediately jumped up to almost $100. I had to email them several times asking why this occurred. I also asked what discounts they offer. The answer is NO discounts for anyone. Ouch. The reason for the price increase, they don't seem to know. All they did was instruct me to look at some breakdown. It took a while, it is hidden on the website, but I found it. The breakdown just lists additional costs. No reason. No justification. It just feels like a bait and switch site. ***Update*** You can see the reply that Shef left here. They don't want to discuss this where everyone can see it. They'd rather do that behind closed doors. I have sent them the entire email chain that lead up to this review. I'll let you know if there is anything further.

We are not a family to use a service like Shef but I (mom) recently fractured my foot so I had limited mobility. We tried a few food options and Shef is our favorite yes, it is a little more pricey but the food quality, being green and outstanding customer service makes it worth it. Thank you, Shef!

I put in an order and the total was $99 (and my receipt confirmed that amount) yet I was charged $186!!! What the heck? How can this be a legitimate company? Do not trust.

I signed up for a week of meals. (8 single-serving meals). I am recovering from surgery and was unable to cook for myself. Having delicious, ready-made meals on-hand was so beneficial to my recovery! I am not able to finance a Shef service more frequently, but really recommend it for folks needing some assistance getting good nutrition in.

I didn’t even get a chance to try Shef. My first weekly order was scheduled for a Monday between 4pm and 6pm. At 7:30pm, I reached out to customer service and was told my delivery was delayed, but the order was still on its way. At 9pm, I was told the entire order was being cancelled and I was being refunded. My husband and I did not meal prep or grocery shop for the entire week because of the Shef order that was supposed to arrive. We then didn’t have time to go grocery shopping when we found out at 9pm that the full order was being cancelled. We both work full time and have a toddler at home, so I don’t even have the words for the inconvenience this has caused. Shef offered a $30 credit if I wanted to place another order, but the earliest delivery date wouldn’t be until the following Monday, so we were still left scrambling for meal prep. In addition, $30 covers maybe two of their meals. This company needs a complete customer service overhaul.

For the most part, the chef meals I’ve tried have been very good. I gave four stars primarily because they don’t include very many vegetables with their meals!
