SSY refuses to work with customers and stand by their products. If there is a problem with your order, you should expect AI responses and dismissive concerns. The ring we purchased had a piece randomly snap off and SSY refuses to repair outside their warranty. Pieces of jewelry should not just snap off. Cost of repair with a local jeweler is 2x the value of the ring. Very frustrating.
Like most people, I was not concerned about the length of the warranty. I've never had a piece of jewelry fall apart.
To be clear - this ring was damaged while grocery shopping. Specifically - picking out avacados. That is hardly mistreatment. This ring was clearly made with a defect and we are now being told by the manufacturer that it can not even be repaired.
We have now endured a 'negotiation' process where we have had incrementally increased 'discounts' for replacement that started at 10% and are now at 50% - on the condition we remove the review. It is no wonder they claim reviews are overwhelmingly positive when they manipulate the system.
The customer service has been absurdly dismissive. A gently used piece of jewelry should not have these kinds of defects and our local jeweler has made it clear the band can not be repaired because of the workmanship on the original piece.
Buyer beware.

After reviewing your case, we found that the damage to your ring—specifically, the loss of 1/3 of the paved band—is unfortunately beyond standard wear and tear and falls outside the scope of repairable damage, even under warranty. This level of damage typically results from significant impact or force, rather than normal wear over time (your ring has been worn for two years). The structural damage typically indicates an incident that no jeweler (local or otherwise) could fully restore to its original condition without compromising integrity.
While our warranty covers manufacturing defects, it does not extend to accidental damage or breakage of this nature. Given the irreversible condition of your ring, the only solution we can offer is a discount toward a future purchase—a gesture we extend in goodwill, despite this falling outside our warranty terms.
We understand this resolution may not align with your expectations, and we’re truly sorry for any disappointment caused. Our goal is always to balance fairness to all customers with the realities of jewelry care and limitations in repair possibilities.
