Our electric bill is averaged and so our bill remains around the same amount When looking at our monthly use, the amount per month th is never over the top even without averaging. If there is an outage it is easy to report and find out when it will be returned. When I have talked to customers service the person has been polite and problem was quickly resolved.
It seems no matter which plan I choose the prices are a bit higher then expected. But the customer service is well knowable and does their best to help with any service concerns that might be needed.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Angel today regarding a mistake I had made with a service address. Not only was my issue corrected, I was also able to ask questions that I had regarding service and pricing. Angel was so kind in answering all of my questions and breaking rates down in a way that was a lot easier for me to understand. Great customer service is always a huge factor in my loyalty to a company, and this has made a lasting impact.
I originally called in to speak with a manager to inform on the excellent customer service I received from Angel - but I would like to post this for others to be aware. This employee was absolutely exceptional and focused on what could be done in my time of need vs. what could not be! Angel is a perfect example of outstanding customer service.

I'm just starting my experience with TXU but so far so good! Being able to split the deposit made my move a bit smoother which was greatly appreciated! I absolutely am in awe . I thought i wouldn't get any help but I figured the worst ill hear is a NO. But Diana went above and beyond in helping me with my problem. She was very knowledgeable and polite. I greatly appreciate her understanding and compassion to help someone in need. Ive always loved TXU and today confirmed my passion is in the right place. I had to have a dental procedure done that unexpectedly cost a lot more than I was told, which I had to use the funds for my electric bill for. Representative Kathya G. really eased my families' worries with helping us get an extension for our current bill. She was helpful, understanding, patient, and respectful. She deserves a raise! I have been with TXU literally for decades. I like that when I call with a concern, I can talk with a real person who is knowledgeable and professional (such as Kathya G. today). They always resolve my issue, whether it's regarding billing or a service issue. They've even provided me with resources to help with my bill during hard times. I can't imagine using any other electric service provider, because they provide so much more than just electric power.
