My experience with service was the worst. They didn't make an attempt to help me at all. As for the cat food it's a waist of money. It's ridiculously expensive and looks like dog poo. I would never recommend this cat food to anyone.
The cats love the food. I just don’t pay them that much. I have two cats in a very small freezer. otherwise I would have stayed on the plan. I still have a lot in my freezer.
We fell for the ads and bought a sample pack for our cat. Within 3 days of feeding, our cat started experiencing respiratory issues. Poop looked unusual as well.
While the food is good, their business practice is not. Be very careful when setting up a subscription. They grossly overestimate your needs and the ability and timing to change the charge and delivery is not obvious to the point of deception.
I ordered the 30 day trial set. My cat didn’t like it. She’s not even that picky, she can eat any kind of food. Smalls also smells kind of funky. I followed all their suggestions of slowly introducing it, mixing it with hot water, broth, adding treats, etc. My cat only licks it and leaves the food dry like cement. It doesnt look appetizing at all. They told me that it takes time and I passed the 30 days and no longer qualify for the refund. It’s been 3 months now and my cat still doesn’t like it.
I have ordered 4-5 times with smalls. My cats decided to no longer want smalls catfood. Last week we tried to use their refund policy to refund our order. They told me I would receive $105. I received $28. Do not trust this company. They do not stick to their word.
I wasn’t going to write a review, but now, I am thinking it is important to, as I feel many people will not realize they are signed up for subscription, especially when they do the trial. Let me be clear, it is against the law to sign a person up for a subscription without their explicit consent. The content of the subscription needs to be clearly outlined. It did not. And, they kept the credit card data on file without consent. Uh oh Smalls. Luckily, I read people’s reviews and checked, and sure enough they have signed me up for a subscription. I am obviously not going to do business with a company that does not function with integrity, and quite frankly, not align with the law. Now, I am thinking of my mother who is older. Would she catch this? My mom is pretty savvy for 90 years old, but still, she may not catch this kind of deceit that unbeknownst that Smalls had signed her up for a subscription and kept her credit card on fall, all without her valid consent. So not only am I extremely disappointed with Smalls Business practices (which are not only unethical, they are illegal), but I feel for those who are getting duped by this unsavory practice of signing a person up for a subscription, which means you have kept their credit card on file without their consent. Watch out Smalls. A lawsuit will be coming your way. Maybe not from me, but definitely those who start to catch on.
The food was fine. But, there is little to no customer service, just an online chat bot. I had trouble with my ship time. Every time I would change it to five weeks, they would change it back to three. Thought I had finally gotten that fixed, when a huge shipment showed at my house, unwanted. They refuse to work with me. I am ready to pack it all up and I have cancelled. EDIT: Smalls reread my emails and found the email where I complained of the trouble I was having changing 3 weeks to 5. They refunded my money and I have changed my overall rating to 5 stars.
The food is great the cats liked it mostly. It’s your bullshit “subscription” that I stopped feeding my cat your food. I will order food when I am ready to order food for my cats. Not when you decide to send me whatever the hell you want on a monthly basis that’s a bunch of bullshit. You’re not gonna stuff your product down my throat.
My cat would not eat the food. You sent me additional food after I informed you that I didn't want it.

My cat loved this food. It was clean and had little to no smell. She was so happy to eat every day. She would twirl around the island waiting for the taste. I miss her so much.
I have adopted a Siamese cat about three months ago. I looked into what was the best food I could feed her and Small was the best I was referred to. She absolutely can’t wait for her feeding time and she never leaves anything behind. She loves it. This is all I’m gonna use.
My cats are my fur babies and I want them to have only the best! The natural ingredients w/o any by products makes me happy to know that they are getting all the good stuff and none of the fillers. They each have different favorites because they are individuals too! Delivery was great and I even still use the cold pack. Ordering was a breeze and if you had any questions, just email them and they responded in a reasonable amount of time!
This company has the best customer service of any company I have ever bought from. My cat unexpectedly passed away before a shipment of food was coming and they refunded me fully and sent an incredibly thoughtful, kind gift to help ease the pain. They are responsive, helpful, and keep their customers at the fore front of every transaction.
cats hate food. Smalls kept sending me shipments after I asked them to stop...they claim they didn't get emails. I sent them GMAIL threads informations repeatedly. DO NOT TRUST this company.
Everything was packed very nice, but my cat wouldn’t eat any of it. They delivered it to the wrong address first time. Then when I did get it, I had to give it away
We have a 1-year old Persian male, who is extremely food motivated. I've never had a cat so obsessed with food. Today, I introduced him to Smalls. Immediately upon opening the package, Loki started sniffing the air and came running over. Originally, I was going to slowly introduce Loki to the food per the suggestions, but he devoured up the little bit I gave him so I gave him more. He licked the bowl clean! I gave him the rest for dinner and, once again, he licked his bowl clean! Moisture rich food is important for Loki's urinary health. I am hopeful he will continue to enjoy the other varieties!
My cat who liked some flavors all of a sudden wouldn't eat them which of course was expensive. Smalls allowed me to try other flavors so at least I wasn't stuck with having to order the same. I'm on my 3rd adjustment. I hope this is finally the flavors he settles on but then again I'm dealing with a 🐈 so nothing is forever.
