I had braces years ago, but needed help again

I had braces years ago, but my retainer had gotten old and had broken. I had tried to contact the original dentist location where I had gotten my braces and original retainer, but they are a ways away from where I live and I could never seem to connect with them or get a call back even after leaving several messages. So, I just decided to live with it and in the meantime, my bottom teeth shifted. It's not nearly what it was, but it is definitely not in alignment in the front. I was research the options out there, but everyone was quoting at least a thousand dollars on up to five or 6 thousand dollars. I didn't need a full mouth treatment. I just needed some minor fixing from what was already done. I eventually found Smile Perfect. So far, they've been great. The price was the best I've found anywhere, they shipped out my kit to make a mold of my teeth very quickly, and I found that to be a simple enough thing to do on my own, though I did have to do it a couple of times to get the best impression. They had me email the pictures each time and they did provide more than enough putty to get the needed impressions. I waited the number of days they mentioned after returning the impressions in the prepaid envelope and I just received my 3D analysis of my teeth and the process the aligners will go through to fix my lower teeth crowding in the front issue. Smile Perfect has been great so far and I have no doubt with what my experience has been so far, that the rest of the process will be seamless as well. I am now waiting on my aligners to be created and shipped and I look forward to receiving them and feeling better about my teeth and my smile. And on top of it all, I even get a couple of free retainers (not just one, like I received from the orthodontist) and I will have less to worry about if something happens to one of them. I am very pleased about the process, about the price, and about the ease of it all. Smile Perfect gets 5 stars from me!

Waste of my time and money

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE: If I could post the email chain of 58 emails throughout the ENTIRE process, I would just to prove everything here is completely accurate and honest. Yes, I did complete the process, but I raised issues throughout the entire time! And because my jaw was so misaligned, my dentist told me to stop wearing the retainers as it would keep my jaw in misalignment and in pain. My teeth immediately went right back to almost where they started, hence the waste of time and money. Honestly, nothing but issues with Smile Perfect. Right off the bat, when I did my impressions, the aligner molds were too thin and in order to get good impressions you have to push them all the way up to the roof of your mouth. They gouged the outside of my gums so bad I had sores for WEEKS afterward! Told my "specialist" and they asked me to send pics. I did, and they said they were going to set me up with a virtual appointment with one of their dentists. They offered to do it on Thanksgiving day. When I told them that wasn't a good day, I got no other date offer. Then after I got my first 3 sets of aligners, I told them they fit okay except that when I took them off to eat or whatever, they felt like they were misaligning my jaw and I couldn't set my back teeth together. They dismissed it and said that "pressure and mild jaw discomfort was normal". They only send you the first 3 sets and then once you approve them, they send you the rest. I approved right away. You are supposed to change sets every 2 weeks. Well 6 weeks came and went, still no new aligners. Continued to ask several "specialists" when they were arriving. Either kept getting told they were going to ship soon or I would get no response whatsoever. Finally got the rest 2 weeks after I was supposed to start set 4. Getting towards the end of my process, I again raised the concern about how my jaw felt so misaligned to the point that it gave me TMJ and I literally could not open my mouth more than half an inch! Again, it was dismissed and I was told it was normal and to continue through to the end. I reluctantly did and continued to have jaw pain and misalignment. Had my regular 6 month dental check-up and they told me to immediately stop wearing them as they were completely messing up my jaw. I informed them of what the dentist had said and they again said it can sometimes happen as part of the natural adaptation process and wanted me to send pictures. I just told them I was just going to be done with them. I tried telling them right from the beginning, but was continually reassured everything was normal. It has been over 3 months since the TMJ started and I still have pain and have a hard time eating and sometimes sleeping. Waste of my time and money!

Started off well in December 2024 got my aligners did my treatment I had 4 gaps I needed closing. At the end of the treatment only one gap had barely closed. Asked for some more pairs and got 2 more pairs. The gaps had not closed again. Emailed and did not get a reply. Had to consistently email to get a single reply and even then the conversation that should’ve taken 2 days took longer than a month. Horrible communication. Mike would always say I’ll update you tomorrow and never did. Got my new aligners for the third time (if they actually made them properly the first time and my gaps actually closed then I wouldn’t have to keep asking) and they are horrible made. Don’t even fit my molars properly. Although it might not sound like it but I’m not a karen writing a typical bad review, I actually rarelyy ever write them. But this was just horrible customer service and communication from smile perfect. Don’t waste ur money

Early stages very positive

So far, so good. I haven't started with the aligners yet but Mike, the Smile Specialist assigned to me, is very quick in any responses and has guided me through the process so far. I will look to review again in a few months once I, hopefully, have a brighter and straighter smile!

Overall good

I’m still early in the process but overall I’ve had a good experience. The creation of my treatment plan and aligners delivery has taken a bit longer than I anticipated. However, I’ve appreciated how communicative and responsive the care team has been along the way.

Amazing experience!

My experience has been amazing from the start to the end of my journey. Mike has always been amazing on emails with any questions I've had along the way. I wanted straight teeth for my wedding and I'm so impressed and confident with my smile now. I cannot stop smiling. The process from taking impressions to receiving the retainers was seamless. I recommend this company wherever I go when people who have followed my journey have asked. The teeth whitening kit that came with it was an added bonus and in bow benefitting from this as well. Amazing service and experience. 100% worth it for anyone wanting to get straight teeth. 😃

I was on a tight timeline to receive my aligners, and the team went above and beyond to help rush the process, which I truly appreciated. The person who referred me couldn’t stop talking about how comfortable her aligners were and how great her experience had been, so I was excited to get started myself. Even though I’m still early in my treatment, the customer service has been outstanding. Everyone has been responsive, helpful, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Smile Perfect if you are looking to get a beautiful smile on a budget as I am at stage 12 of my aligner so far and the transformation on my smile has been already significant. I am very pleased with how everything is going. The process is seamless and they are very helpful and quick in addressing any concerns I may have. I had braces many years ago but after not wearing my retainers I wanted to straighten my teeth. I looked at quite a few options and settled on Smile Perfect. The process was easy from start to finish and now my treatment is complete I am happy with my smile again!

I had a problem with my front teeth

I had a problem with my front teeth, they were giving me pain my dentist recommended aligners but all other brands are expensive I find Smile perfect, I bought it, tried it, and it helped a with the problem I had with a teeth that was hitting and hurting. My dentist said that he can do better job than them, So I contacted them because I was not happy with the results and they offered the free realignment they promised with your purchase... Now I'm waiting for the new treatment and the retainers. I never received the beautiful case shown in the webpage, just a plastic box.
