I was amazed to find that Solace Health was a no cost company that works with Medicare to help seniors like me. They worked with my physician and pharmacy to get low cost Zepbound (Trizepatide) GLP-1 at the unbelievable price of $50/month! They cut through the red tape and took care of everything! Martin, my advocate, did an amazing job. He was caring and made sure I was taken care of in the best possible way.

Rachel Henry is truly a blessing. As an advocate, she is wonderful in her persistence in making sure that my concerns are addressed. Her ability to communicate with doctor's office and pharmacy staff has not been easy, but she remains focused on my needs and is determined to get me a satisfactory resolution to my ongoing issues.

I was assigned an advocate who didn't inspire my confidence. When I requested another, I was assigned a very knowledgeable and well-spoken nurse who has navigated my confusion and worries admirably. Her work has been exemplary and I am thrilled at her abilities to interface with my doctors. As well as with the work she has done to provide me with the knowledge I am seeking. Solace has my gratitude. I am sure my care is better than it would be in her absence.

The Advocate appointed to me, Leisha Fee, has been so very helpful, thoughtful, pleasant, and such a good listener. She has helped me maneuver different agencies and get a fix on new options. I am quite satisfied with this experience. Many thanks.

1 MISTAKE AND NO COMPASION.
My daughter 18 yrs was a client at Solace but left due to staff conflict. She was in need of treatment and contacted Solace. Pedro completed intake. He told her she was accepted and pack your bags. She needed to sign a form not to leave Solace without approval.
Unfortunately, my daughter is going thru problems and needed immediate residential help.
We met with owner Sam in one of the offices. He yelled at my daughter because she smoked a few puffs in the care. She apologized and regretful. She told him she needed help. Well, I sat in the office feeling the worse because he talks down to people and makes you feel terrible about your addiction.
Owner Sam likes to talk about how he once had problems with drug addiction and how he is a self made success story. You think the man would have some compassion because he has kids.
He went on to tell us that his daughter is doing well, she bought a car and has her own apartment. Since, he referred to his 19 yr old daughter and I thought he would have compassion and help my daughter.
He looked at my daughter and told her that the residential house had some good people there. And he will not accept her to this treatment at Solace. He referred her to a place far away with no residential.
The Owner Sam claims to understand the drug disease. But, his a big shot with so many beautiful houses. I never met him before in person. My daughter would tell me he yells and talks down to residents. I had to sit there and listen to him belittle us, just because I was in desperate need for my daughter to get help.
I have worked in public service for over 25 years. I have never heard any of our attorneys talk down to clients in need of understanding and make them feel undeserving and worthless.
SOLACE IS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. THANK YOU

Hi Blanca, we are so sorry to hear about this experience for your daughter, and we want to be upfront with you. We are not a treatment center, and we were unable to find any record of your daughter in our system. We want to make sure we understand what happened, so we have requested more information and would be happy to look into this further 💚

4 phone calls
4 phone calls. Zero progress. Repeatedly asked the same questions. But given no answers. Guessing you are paid by the call not the solution.

Hi Robin, we are so sorry to hear this, four calls with no progress is not the experience we want for you or anyone. We would love to resolve this in any way and make it right for you. Please give us a call at (240)693-3281 so the right team member can speak to you.
I was impressed with both the physician who conducted my intro/intake and the nurse practitioner who was assigned to my case. Well-informed, professional and engaging. My caseworker provided useful information about one of my conditions as well as contacts I might use for legal advice. I have referred two of my friend to Solace

We are so glad to hear about your positive experience with our team, from the physician to the nurse practitioner and caseworker. Your kind words and referrals mean a great deal to us.
I have good things happen since I applied with Solace. I got an advocate (Crystal ) that has helped me get through the red tape of getting on the Bridge program. It didn’t even take two weeks and I already have my Zepbound prescription. I appreciate all that has been done.

The experience is not that great as my advocate is hardly available when I need her and she doesn’t offer great funding sources for rent and utility funding as she lives far away in Hawaii and isn’t local. She’s not a proactive advocate.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you've faced with advocate availability and the challenges in securing funding sources. We are reviewing our advocate assignments to ensure better support and local resource knowledge for all our clients.
Complex case involving treatments and complications with Insurance.
My case gets more complicated every single day. The wait for proper imaging and the injuries I'm left with mean my case isn't being treated. Complicated insurance policies and delayed payments are part of this complex process. I have a structured settlement using WCMSA for injuries. My insurance in this procedure uses a separate contract for MSP to manage. These entities don't communicate with each other. So patients don't have it easy.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it is when complex insurance policies and communication issues between entities complicate your care and treatment. We are committed to improving these processes for all patients.
Debra is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I wish I would’ve found this site sooner. Without even being there she has caught dangerous problems with our mom’s care and taken steps to get them corrected. She has been a major blessing for us.

We are so grateful for your kind words! It's wonderful to hear that our team was able to provide such crucial support and make a positive impact on your mother's care. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience.
Megan my contact is wonderful, a 10 for sure. The problem with the system. Megan can't give me full attention, when she has 9 clients in total. I feel that Solace is trying to maximize their profits by over scheduling other clients, pulling Megan away from my issues!

nearly ghosted, then actually ghosted, after tech issues that worsened symptoms
TL:DR; nearly ghosted, tech issues that worsened symptoms, then actually ghosted.
I made an appointment, very eager for support and help managing a lot of care. When I first signed on at the scheduled time, there was a 5 minute countdown, insinuating the provider would be 5 minutes late. After that time passed, a message said they were coming, but with no estimate of how long. Because there had been a previous countdown, the change made me suspect no one was going to actually arrive. This created a lot of frustration, confusion, and anxiety going into the appointment. I waited for over 30 minutes and was just about to hang up the video call when she finally signed in. I think there must be a better way. At least give people a heads up they may be waiting 30 minutes or more and haven’t just been ghosted.
Once she joined the call, we had tech issues. My camera and mic permissions were a problem, so she had to call me and tell me to use Chrome. I do not use Google products for privacy reasons, and don’t have this installed. Since I was already flustered and couldn’t concentrate on trying to deal with installing a new browser when the appointment was already running so far behind, I just used a different browser (I think Firefox). Then I couldn’t join because I had previously joined in the first browser, so she had to change some settings so I could finally join the call and be seen and heard.
However, the entire appointment, both my and her videos were flickering and flashing. There were already so many issues and delays, I just explained to her this was happening why I would be mostly looking away, and asked we just continue since it was nearly 40 minutes past my scheduled time and we were just getting starting. It was a relatively short appointment going over my (extensive) history, but I was distracted and the flickering video started to cause nausea and triggered my visual snow syndrome which lasted for about an hour after the visit.
The doctor herself was attentive and lovely and reassuring about the help an advocate could provide. I explained that because of my limitations and demands in my life that make phone calls hard, I find email or portal messages easiest to communicate, and she assured me this would be no problem.
Shortly after the visit, I got an email from Solace asking for my schedule to set up an appointment with an advocate. I responded with my schedule and the openings I had available. 2 days later I had heard nothing, but my schedule had changed by then, so I sent a follow up email with the changes and expressing I was motivated to get this scheduled soon.
It’s now been 10 days since my intake appointment and the only email I’ve gotten about scheduling with an advocate. The whole reason I am in need of this type of service is that I don’t have to capacity to be constantly calling around and trying to get a response from offices and businesses. I’m deeply disappointed. Don’t promise help to vulnerable people who are already exploited and abandoned and victims of broken systems.

We're so sorry for everything you went through here, the delays, the tech issues, and especially the visual snow symptoms that were triggered afterward, and we're sorry to hear this happened right when you were reaching out specifically because you don't have the capacity for this kind of runaround.
We want to be transparent with you, on our end we did not receive the emails you sent regarding your schedule. We're going to have our support team reach out to you directly as soon as possible to get this sorted out and make it right.
