Actually, speaking to a real person was so refreshing, Shannon was so patient. It was exciting to speak to somewhat all the way across the waters being she is from the UK I’ve never used Spareroom, but I confident that I will find a perfect renter to give them a safe and a beautiful environment to live there daily routine.

If used 100% as advised, will always deliver solid roommates, landlords and great housing selections without "ghosting and scammers" found on so many other renting sites. My only Con... Is the the newly satuation of broker postings. Makes it more challenging for private users to compete with having their ads viewed, however the upgraded "free ad renewal" allows private renters roommate seekers to move ads to top page every *60 mins *1hr : D

I signed up, made an Ad, sent out a couple inquiries, went to bed, and woke up the next morning to several messages from people wanting to rent me a room :) the 1st one actually worked out right away. Im a freaking SATISFIED CUSTOMER for sure hahaha And id been looking for something so very long in other places, and was convinced that my budget (income) for a room of my own was just too low to live in nyc... Should've hit up this cite sooner. 👍
SpareRoom makes a complicated process much less overbearing & has a great amount of options for finding exactly what you are comfortable with. Plus, they offer some unique options such as saving searches in great detail with notifications. That helps a lot to not only feel secure, but also keep track of a vast, curated search area.
