Lack of Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Splash Wines and their customer service. On June 18, 2026, I placed an order totaling $98.59 that I never received. After being unable to get in touch with anyone at Splash to resolve the issue, I filed a dispute with my bank. Eventually, Splash informed me that the dispute had to be withdrawn before they could issue a refund. Trusting that information, I canceled my bank dispute. Despite doing exactly what they requested, I still have not received my refund as of August 5, 2026. Since then, I have been sent in circles. Customer service continues to tell me the issue is my bank’s fault, yet they have provided no proof that a refund has actually been processed. They have also been unable or unwilling to connect me with a manager. On August 5, the first representative told me I would be transferred to a manager within 1–10 minutes. Instead, I sat on hold for over 30 minutes with no resolution. When I called back, a second representative told me that transferring me to a manager wasn’t possible and that I would have to wait for a callback. During that same call, the second representative stated that a $113.59 refund had already been processed in July to bypass the dispute. This was the first time anyone had mentioned this to me. However, I never received that refund, and I confirmed with my bank that no refund in that amount—or any refund from Splash Wines—has ever been received or posted to my account. Despite this, Splash has been unable to provide any documentation, confirmation number, or proof that the refund was actually processed. I also requested confirmation that a manager would contact me, but none could be provided. Unfortunately, this is not my first issue with Splash Wines. I have previously received multiple shipments containing broken bottles of wine. Rather than issuing refunds to my original payment method, Splash only offered credits to my Splash account—even though I made it clear I did not want to continue purchasing from them after those experiences. At this point, I have completely lost confidence in this company. It has been nearly two months since I paid for an order that never arrived, and I am still being given conflicting information, empty promises, and no resolution. Between the repeated shipping issues, the refusal to provide a straightforward refund, the conflicting stories about whether a refund was ever processed, and the inability to speak with a manager despite multiple requests, this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have had. I cannot recommend Splash Wines based on my experience. Customers should not have to spend weeks chasing a refund for an order that was never delivered or repeatedly deal with damaged shipments and account credits they never wanted in the first place.
