Product works really well.
The product is working well for us and our dog. We had a different GPS collar previously and our dog knew how to escape all the time and the collar couldn't even tell me where he was. Yours with the two satelite system seems to work much better.

SpotOn people were very diligent to identify the problem with the collar. It turned out to be a manufacturing issue, and they replaced it at no cost to me. It took a while to get the new one, but it works great (way better than the previous one.

I love that the unlimited fences
I love that we can take this collar anywhere and set up a new fence. My only problem is seeing how much battery is left. I wish the percentage was always on the screen.

Spot on's support is above and beyond any other. I am on our second collar for Gus. I replaced the orginal collar because I felt it unfair for Snap on to continue to repair/replace the original collar. Gus is more the rough on things crashing through the woods or swimming in the pond. Thank you John Schmitt

I liked customer service when I called…
I liked customer service when I called but I had to call way to often. We did get almost everything straighten out the collar still gives my dog sores around his neck even if I change what side the prongs are on. This is the last thing to figure out.

Thank you for reviewing the SpotOn system. We are saddened to hear your dog is getting sore on his neck. A few things can cause this, one being moisture or water trapped between the dog's neck and collar from sweat, or if the area is not properly dried off after going for a swim or getting wet. Secondly, it could be caused by fitment; we reccomned being able to fit two fingers between the dog's neck and collar. Any tighter, and a pressure sore could form. Thirdly, and the most uncommon, are the contact points. Contact points have a trace amount of zinc in them that some dogs may be allergic to; if this is the case, we can provide titanium contact points free of charge to help futher reduce the likelihood of an allergic reaction. As always, the team is here for you and happy to help. Please reach out to us so we can further help diagnose what may be causing your dog to get pressure sores around his neck.

Love the collar and it works just as it’s supposed to but I just wish there was a mode that would allow my dog to stay within a hundred yard radius of my phone while I walk through the woods.

Customer service is absolutely top notch! We had concerns with our collar and the connection and Spot On rectified it for us almost immediately! Our 100lb black labs completely respect the boundaries and the collar. We have just renewed our subscription this year. We have been using since 2022

I purchased two Nova collars for our…
I purchased two Nova collars for our two livestock guardian dogs, and I couldn't be happier with them. We haven't had a single issue with either collar, and the customer service has been excellent whenever I've had questions. Our 2 boys are still puppies and are still learning their boundaries, so these collars have given me incredible peace of mind. While I'm at work, I can open the app at any time, check their location, and know they're safe. That alone has made them worth every penny. I would absolutely spend the money again and highly recommend SpotOn to anyone looking for a reliable GPS fence and tracking system for their dogs.

Totally Inadequate
1. The battery is totally inadequate. 2. There was an update sent out, but would never download onto my collar, despite following the instructions to the letter. 3. I can’t set up enough inclusion zones. 4. I’m looking at collars designed for Livestock Guard Dogs that are made to stay with a herd using virtual fencing, that will be substantially less expensive and do a better job.

Exceeds Expectation
We have had our GPS fence for 8 months. It has been very easy to use and train our dog to. The training videos were very helpful. We are in a densely wooded area and the fence works well. There has been a little bit of drift in the fence line, but nothing problematic. I am truly surprised about how well it works for us and our very active dog who did not tolerate other methods of enclosure. We can leave him outside for several hours with little to no barking. He's usually sleeping on the deck when we get home.
