Collar is great. Works exactly as stated in description. Durable and easy to use too. GPS does drift 10-15 feet as stated in description. Not an issue, just set boundaries accordingly. Easy to make changes to boundaries and safe zones later. The voice commands, tone and vibration work very well with my German Shepherd. This particular dog is extremely bright and food/toy/sent driven. Any stronger correction would not make this particular dog want to work for me. Make the time, do the work and use this collar to know where your dog is when it is out of your sight line. It is a great tool. Thank you SpotOn.
Mediocre cellular coverage means the product has no use. I would return it if I could. I’m so devastated that I paid so much money for this.

We did want to clarify that a cellular connection is not required for SpotOn to contain or correct your dog. Containment is powered by GPS satellite technology, while the optional cellular subscription is only used for features such as notifications and live tracking within the app. The subscription can be added, canceled, or changed at any time.

My wife won't use the collars because it is too difficult to determine if they are powered on or off. We bought two collars at Christmas. Began to use them in May at a second home. Between purchase and first use the collars were upgraded. So I am not sure if the on / off function has changed.

We have had the Omni edition for almost…
We have had the Omni edition for almost 3 years and it has been nothing but a waste of time and money from day one. Considering we paid about $1300.00 for it, we kept trying and trying to make it work rather than just be out that money. This company does not care that you are out $1300.00 after almost 3 years. We have had charging issues, parts coming loose in the collar causing it not to work properly; malfunctions with the charging port itself; All in all I believe we have had to replace this collar about 3 times in the course of almost 3 years. Now the company just recommends taking it to the local recycling to dispose of it. Extremely disappointed in such an expensive product that never worked the way it should have from the very beginning. I would absolutely never recommend Spot On nor will I ever purchase any of their products again.
I need alot more help with the training and I still get a lot of drift so often I can't find the boundary.

Works great. Suggested improvements: 1) battery life 12 - 15 hours sometimes not enough. 2) durability 2 years in and don’t know how much longer it will last. Rubber thinking, logo fell off long ago.

I have used underground fencing for numerous years and each year there is at least one break in the line. With SpotOn that isn’t an issue and I was able to mimic the old boundary, so no new training needed.

Fence still doesn’t work. Replaced collar and same issues. Boundaries are not consistent and I am not able to trust the fence to contain dog.

The fence is very accurate but the battery life is horrible on the collar but if it’s your only option it’s a great one

Device is Exceptional in performance. A longer battery life would be appreciated, if physics allow.
Did a few training sessions with an open gate with verbal and hand commands; stop, stay (sit or lay) depends on the circumstances of heat and surroundings, and allowing the dog to decide best results, wait ( which allows me 5 minutes out of site).
My fault! While training, a neighbor , whom my dogs love, wanted to greet and got an impulse from the device, when bolting from the boundaries. Fortunately, she now understand that the gate is a boundary.
Obviously, my dog is smarter than I am.
Longer life battery for your company, and better dog owners are my only issue.

Spot on is a great fence and very versatile. I have 2 different fences for 2 different areas. My dog stays in both. It is very adjustable and I don’t even have the subscription. Definitely worth the money.

I read all the reviews and it turns out this colar does not get a strong signal in the woods. My poor pup keeps going past the boundary without warning and then just gets a correction. :-0
