Disgusting and inedible food
I visited Harborne High St branch today and can say without and hesitation that the sausage bap I was served was the most inedible thing I have ever purchased. Whilst my beverage and the staff were fine I feel compelled to place a review to highlight this issue. Inexplicably the bap was reheated in a microwave oven. This is hardly the way to reheat a ciabatta roll and undoubtedly contributed to converting the bap into something I could have soled my shoe with. I should really have alerted the staff but I would only have been offered another item which would be similarly inedible. Time will tell what dental damage was caused in trying to chew it. This is not the first time I have been served such inedible food in a Starbuck's. I should really have remembered that I have previously been served something which made plastic seem appetising. I wasted £5.50 of my money on it but will not be so silly again. There are plenty of coffee shops to choose from and Starbuck's is off my list. I will not be going back.

I like Starbucks coffee a lot BUT!
I like Starbucks coffee a lot.
By and large Starbucks staff are excellent.
I bought a cream coloured plastic Starbucks cup recently but then a few miles down the road I reached out for my coffee and the lid came off. No harm done. When I got home I tried very hard to push the lid onto the cup but could not.
Today we visited Starbucks New Fox North for coffee and toasted sandwiches.
I took the opportunity to ask the first member of staff if he would swap my faulty lid for another one. He tried fitting it onto a new cup but was unable to do so. He involved a senior staff member who asked me where I had bought it, noting I had not bought it from New Fox North. It became clear that my request was a problem. She explained that this was a franchise and not a Starbucks owned business. That if she gave me a lid her stock would be down. She then suggested it was my cup that was faulty not my lid. I pointed out it was her cup and my lid (I left my cup at home.)I added that as there had been no indication when I arrived that this store was not a genuine Starbucks store, and therefore I should not expect the level of customer support that a genuine store would I suspect have offered.... I felt she should replace the lid (visually perfect after having been used once only btw)
She left to phone someone for advice, asking my forbearance whilst she made some checks, I agreed. As my wife and I drank our coffee and started to eat our snacks she returned and peered intently at both my lid and a lid of a new cup to compare the two. She then tried to fit my lid to her new cup but failed; as I had. Even when she thought the lid was fitted I pointed out that it had still not fitted all the way around. At last she placed a new lid in front of me and I thanked her.
I returned to our table whereupon she politely apologised saying that the store closed at 6.30pm (it was 6.35pm by then) and I asked if we should leave immediately mid meal and with food in mouthes? Apparently that was unnecessary but she re-iterated that they closed at 6.30pm! We folded up our sandwiches and finished our meals in our car.
My takeaways are (scuse the pun)
1. Try only to use genuine Starbucks owned stores in future
2. Don't assume that if I am able to buy food / coffee from a Starbucks it is not necessarily open for trade
3. The Starbucks stock control system for non-genuine / franchise stores is so unreasonable that a franchisee will be reluctant to offer a reasonable level of customer support should anything need replacing.
4. This senior member of a Franchisee store needs some or more training in customer support.
I must emphasise that neither the store staff nor myself lost our cool at all. We all remained courteous.
Went to Westfield today and stopped as u go into it the Starbucks. Rude. Rude staff. Drinks wrong twice then made out it was our fault. Frappes wasn’t icy but wasn’t going to go back again.

The worst coffee- watery and bitter
The worst coffee- watery and bitter. Had one years ago, swore never again. Tried again today as no Costa nearby - never again. Couldn't drink it - what a waste of money!!
I do not agree with being forced to pay by card and not being able to use my first choice of cash, if there had been an alternative venue we would have used it, the prices are pretty high to be honest the food was very average however the Coffee was good and plenty of it. Caenby corner services on the A15 Lincolnshire
There is no point of ordering on the Starbucks mobile app as every time I order I have to tell the staff working there after waiting 15-20 minutes and then after that they will start preparing my order.

Starbucks High Street
Starbucks High Street, Scunthorpe. Stood for 5 mins at the counter waiting to be served while the 2 members of staff were messing with the till. No acknowledgement that we were stood there. Once served the drinks were just placed on the counter without any indication who they belonged to. There were many tables that needed clearing and cleaning so finding a clean table was difficult. While we were sat drinking our drinks the staff just stood around taking selfies on their phones rather than clearing and cleaning tables. Disgraceful basic standards.
