Overall, a great experience! Only one issue that was quickly resolved. When we arrived, there were no towels or sheets on the beds. We had to make do that evening until the next morning. I left a voicemail on the after hours line and they called me back as soon as they opened the next morning. They were very apologetic and we were able to pick items up when we picked up our parking pass. They offered to come make the beds, but we were OK with just taking the items back with us and doing ourselves. That is the only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Great house in a great location
My only complaints are that a couple issues were not explained how to operate. There was a luggage lift, but no explanation on how
to use it. The remote controls were hidden behind a closed window blind on the window ledge…we only found them by accident, and only after we had been there a couple days.
There were no instructions or remote controls to operate the bedroom mini split a/c systems, so no way to adjust the temps.
Otherwise, a very nice house.

We had a great time but the cleaning could have been a little better being that we didn’t get in until after 5 o’clock.

Sun Realty OBX Rental
Been renting from Sun Realty every year for past 30 years. Great property choices and always friendly, helpful staff. Already set up with them for 2027
The team at Sun Realty make you feel like family and go the extra mile to ensure your vacation is wonderful!
The team at Sun Realty are an amazing group of associates who work together like a fine, oiled steamship! Each of the 4 associates I spoke with over the 10+ months before checking into our home for the 4th of July week were extremely pleasant, professional and just salt of the earth! Their "over the top" goal to ensure everyone truly has a wonderful experience, and vacation makes you feel like you're working with family - the team at Sun Realty really care and it is greatly appreciated!!!

Very nice home and location.
Nothing more to add from the main survey. I stress the arrival time issues already noted.

A good house for everyone.
The customer service was great. The home was comfy and perfectly suitable for my family along with my buddy's family, especially with 4 kids inside the home at one time. The outside was perfect for us, it's probably where we spent most of our time.
The location was also a huge win. Not too far away from the beach but still within good walking distance, tucked back on a side street with culdesac's so not a ton of traffic.
The house has more than enough amenities for adults and children.
Being so close to multiple beach entrances. The pool was very clean.

Comfortable and convenient to beach
The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It is very close to the beach and we could walk to several restaurants, including ice cream, which was fun! The road noise was excessive at times. We liked South Nags Head a bit better because it was quieter, but also farther away from amenities. The pool was nice, but we didn't use the hot tub because it was stuck in a gross corner, but it looked nice and clean inside. Overall, a good value and a great stay.

Good house that was well equipped for a week at the beach. Great location too!
Sun Realty’s responsiveness to bathroom drain concern was poor and disappointing after being a loyal customer for the last 15 years.
Online rental process, questions and payments were excellent. Invoices were especially complete and easy to understand. Check-out was also very easy.
Thank you for helping to make our vacation so nice.
Sun Realty was awesome they notify you with all upcoming property instructions. Have maintenance out right away if there are any issues. Very pleasant and helpful. Will use again!!
They got me more towels and provided the welcome starter kit when I told them I never received it.

We have rented from Sun Realty twice!
This is the second year we have rented a house in Duck from Sun Realty. The experience has been great both times. The staff is helpful and the website is great. They provide great houses and great services.
You cannot get a better view! Surrounded by windows that look up and down the beach. The deck is the perfect size and doesn't block the views from indoors. Also, sitting on this deck is amazing as my vier is often blocked by railings, but not on this deck. The interior was great too, but the beach is about the views, and this house does not disappoint.
