Great little house with awesome views
The house itself was great. Quite small with mostly shared bathrooms. Small kitchen but probably the most equipped vacation house kitchen we have stayed in. The pool area was great and the back decks were recently redone. The proximity to the beach was amazing and the views from the top floor were awesome. There is an outdoor shower but an outdoor bathroom or half bath would’ve been nice to have during beach days since the sand was mostly tracked into the main living space and we were vacuuming often. All and all it was a great house and we had a great week.

Lovely Home - close to the beach
As stated in the previous survey, we arrived to our pet friendly home to find a week’s worth of dog waste in the side yard. I spent the first 20 minutes of my vacation cleaning up after someone else’s dog. This should have been handled by housekeeping. Or, ideally, the owner of the dog!
The house itself, however, was perfect. The owners definitely went out of their way to make sure that guests are comfortable and have everything they need.
I would give the house 5 stars but sun realty half that due to the issues with housekeeping - not the owners fault.
Our house was not ready until after check in. When we finally got into the house 3 hours later, it was not cleaned. We found a tampon applicator in a drawer, a baby bottle full of old breast milk in the kids room under the bed, sand in the showers, hair in various places of the home, and the pool was full of dirt and leaves. Our washer and dryer did not work, the microwave did not work, and the freezer did not work. When we called Sun Realty, they did not offer to come out and clean the property or relocate us. They said they were short workers and were sorry for the inconvenience. For almost $4000, I am extremely disappointed in our stay with Sun Realty. We will not be renting with them again. Try Twiddy or another rental company in OBX.

Everything was great for the whole trip…
Everything was great for the whole trip the only issue we had is the day of departure the elevator wasn’t working and I have 2 75 year old in-laws that’s it’s hard getting them down stairs but stuff like that happens
My experience was amazing. The house was absolutely perfect for wedding party. Everyone loved having their own room and bathroom! Great communication with the owner! Easy directions well listed throughout house! Beautiful outdoor area, pool and hot tubs! Would definitely rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Lucky Me Rental-heaven on earth
This was our “summer” vacation and we were glad the weather was spectacular in the middle of hurricane season. The beach was beautiful and our beach house was fantastic. We had a few issues (internet, pool, and grill), but Sun Realty and the homeowner were super responsive to our requests. We all had a great time. Can’t wait to return!

The Best of the OBX
Not only a great stay and a wonderful collection of properties but truly a very helpful staff. Our trip plans changed last minute due to a storm and the Sun Realty team really stepped up. Without their help our vacation wouldn't have happened in the first place. Billing and registration info was organized and easy to locate as well. Thank you, Sun Realty team!
