I've bought several things on swappa over the years - phones, computers, tablets. I've never had a problem. It's great to be able to search for exactly the device that you want. The selection is good, the fees are reasonable, and it's simple to use. What else can you say?

This place is a joke. I’m selling a device in pristine condition and they are rejecting it stating it is not in mint condition. Do not do business with this company.

My experience was good. Everything worked and was easy. It was just hard for me to figure out how to review the seller. Which I want to very much because they did a perfect job all around. I had to use google to find out you had to complete the transaction first.

Easy to use and find products. Uses PayPal so you can get refunded if it goes awry but everything went smoothly and it was easy to track the progress of the order

Great selection, I love how the website is laid out, easy to search and filter, and the fact that it shows battery health of the devices makes it better than competitors. I just wish the prices were a little lower on used devices in "Good" condition.
I’m genuinely blown away by Swappa’s lack of professionalism. I created my first listing to sell an iPad and even paid $5 to have the listing boosted. The next day, the listing had disappeared and I could no longer log into my account. I received no warning or explanation. After contacting customer service, I received only this generic response: “Your Swappa account has been suspended due to violations of our terms, policies, or guidelines. Due to this, we are unable to allow you to continue using Swappa. Along with your current Swappa account, any connected accounts, both now and in the future, will also be suspended.” I replied asking which specific term, policy, or guideline I had allegedly violated, but received no response. I then submitted a formal appeal several days ago and still have not heard anything. I also posted on Reddit asking for help. Swappa responded publicly and asked me to send them a direct message. I did so, but they never replied—and they later deleted my original post. I still have no idea what I supposedly did wrong. Had Swappa identified an issue with my listing, I would have gladly corrected it. Instead, they permanently suspended my account, threatened to suspend any future connected accounts, kept the money I paid to boost the listing, and ignored every attempt I made to obtain a basic explanation. Mistakes and automated fraud flags can happen. What is unacceptable is refusing to explain the decision, ignoring an appeal, publicly offering assistance and then disappearing, and deleting criticism rather than addressing it. This has been an incredibly disappointing first experience with Swappa. EDIT: Swappa’s response is unsatisfactory. I’ve never had nor have I been associated with any Swappa account in the past. In fact, I hadn’t heard of the company until the day I made my posting. No effort was made to reach out to me and request any additional information. Regardless, Swappa continued to ignore all of my emails, messages and deleted all of my attempts to get an answer on Reddit until I decided to make a complaint here. I stand by my review. Swappa is an untrustworthy and dishonest company and I would advise that everyone avoid their services.
The seller's Swappa account was initially flagged by our automated systems and suspended due to possible connections to other previously banned accounts. This initial decision was not made lightly or without careful consideration. This seller’s account also underwent a secondary review after they filed an appeal with Swappa support. Our support team determined that this Swappa account should remain closed due to inconsistencies and possible connections to other accounts. Additionally, a refund for the featured fee has been processed.
