I’m a Happy TaxSlayer User
Using TaxSlayer allowed me to prepare my taxes for myself at a fraction of the cost that I’ve paid for many years. I was skeptical using the app as I’m not techno savvy, but the app was quite user friendly. The referral I received to use TaxSlayer has been a reward for how it truly gave me confidence and ease in looking forward to preparing my own taxes for years to come.

Pretty good value. But, not as polished when it comes to estimated quarterly payments. Also, it's been over 2 weeks and I haven't received my refund yet...

Very little guidance throughout the online filling in process. H&R block has a lot more info and the program is easier to navigate. The only saving grace for Tax Slayer is the great customer service people on the phone. And they are pretty easy to get ahold of.

I have used Turbo Tax …
I have used Turbo Tax for many years but this year I tried Tax Slayer and was positively empressed. The only thing I would recommend adding at the end following calculations a more comprehensive result perhaps resembling 1040. Will be using Tax Slayer next year.

I am a TaxSlayer for Life.
I was a user of that other software company for over a 20 years. I tested TaxSlayer 3 years ago and I have never looked back. If your taxes start getting complicated, subscribe to the extra services. It is well worth the headaches. 1. Fees -fair and clear before you start. 2. Software - cloud based, easy to use, and stores your information. 3. Speed of returns - keep an eye on your email. As soon as you file, you will receive a confirmation of acceptance. I can't definitively state that TaxSlayer will get your returns faster but my State return was in my account in less than 48 hours after I filed. That is lightning fast. Federal always takes the 2-3 weeks.

4 th time using Tax Slayer
4 th time using Tax Slayer. Always went well. This time I owe ? I bought a house this year and paid a lot of mortgage interest. I always trusted Tax Slayer but this time I'm not very happy. Always used the Free file but this year I paid Tax Slayer and owe IRS. Since I waited until the last days there was no time to validate results. Feel like I got ripped off. Going to have return checked by someone else.
