Passed the bar, thanks

I used only their prooducts to get a mega bar score, WAY above what I needed to pass. They didn't send me an avalanche of books and I did not study like a wild animal. The folks that work there are also pleasant and helpful.

I had high hopes for LSAT Max

I had high hopes for LSAT Max, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I found the content to be lacking in depth and not as comprehensive as other prep courses I’ve tried. The explanations were often confusing, and the platform itself felt clunky and outdated. While some might find it helpful, I personally didn’t see any significant improvement in my practice test scores. The customer service was very disappointing. For the price they charge, I expected much more. I would recommend exploring other options before committing to LSAT Max.

Passed working full-time, 18 years after graduation

Took the bar for the first time in July 2024, after graduating from law school in 2006. I was, of course, working full-time while studying, and BarMax allowed me to spread my studying across six months. I couldn't have done it otherwise. I also credit BarMax's use of exclusively released MBE questions with my success. Across every topic, I went into the exam feeling prepared, despite having never taken several MEE subjects during law school. And I earned a 330 as a result!

148 to 166 in 3 months

I started with a diagnostic score of 148 and after a couple of months of studying with only LSATMax, I scored 166 in September. They have video lessons on any topic you need and their analytics helped guide me to target my weaknesses and overcome them. Thank you LSATMax!!

This is the program you need if you are not a confident standardized tester.

I never thought I would be taking the LSAT. Then, when I finally realized I wanted to go to law school, I decided to tackle this exam. My cousin who used TestMax prep for her bar preparation recommended LSAT Max to me. I had a goal of 160, and I reached this goal today after taking the official exam only once. I am able to apply to my target school and feel confident in my score. LSAT Max was so helpful and unconventional. The tutors never made me feel stupid, nor did they suck up to LSAC. They tell it how it is, and make anyone believe they can reach their goal. I was not sucked into 7sage and other programs that nickle and dime you and tend to have an elitist perspective on the LSAT. All the tutors and people who helped me from LSAT max were so kind and reassuring. They even send you a text on your test day. They go above an beyond. AND, because of their yearly sale (huge discount) I paid so much less than I would have if I went with a different tutoring service. There are people like me, aspiring to hit 160, and there are people aspiring for 170+. Anyone can prosper in this program. Even their free version is a great place to start, and when you feel like you are not understanding something, just join a live class and ask a question or use the amazing tutoring sessions!

Critical Thinking Included!

I felt like I actually learned a lot from their course outside of the skills to do well on the LSAT. I feel like my critical thinking skills have significantly improved and I regularly apply what I learned on LSATMAX to arguments and readings I encounter regularly. Their curriculum is quite excellent. I went from scoring no higher than a 164 on practice tests after a couple months of study on my own using Khan Academy to getting a 173 on the test itself.

Everything that I needed to pass the Bar

I have taken the Bar exam more times than I care to admit but have finally passed in July 2024. My success can be attributed to the BarMax program itself, as well as the availability of the instructors to provide assistance and insight. The study schedule is laid out in a manner that really spoke to way I learn and made the huge amount of information easily digestible. I have used other Bar prep programs that seem to take pride in the amount of study materials that they send ultimately leading to overwhelming anxiety. BarMax provided two (2!!!) books, one of which was past MBE questions. Only the most tested information is provided and explained by professors with an exceptional grasp on any given subject area that may be tested on the exam. I know I sound like I am a paid employee but trust me when I tell you that this is the only prep course that you will need to be successful on the Bar exam.

I can’t thank BarMax enough

I can’t thank BarMax enough! I am a repeat taker after multiple tries and purchased Barmax to assist with my studying for the February and July 2024 exams after taking 4 years away from studying or sitting for an exam. I work a full time job, run a business and have a 3 year old, which impacted how and when I could study! I enjoyed BarMax because it provided me with the flexibility I needed, provided targeted studying on highly tested areas, and provided access to many different resources such as office hours, actual NCBE MBE questions, and most beneficial to me, a tutor! I missed Feb 2024 by 20 points (needed a 270), decided to stick with BarMax,studied for July 2024, but with the additional help of a tutor. My tutor Nate, was the absolute best! He literally explained the information in a way that just made it make sense! He would always provide context and background information which would lay a foundation to the rules and why the rules made sense! He also helped build my confidence which impacted my performance. I scored a 287 on the North Carolina July 2024 bar and I can confidently say both BarMax and Nate were huge contributing factors in my success! I would recommend BarMax to anyone who has taken time off since studying or who needs the convenience or flexibility that BarMax provides. Thanks Nate!

CAUTION BUYING

Be VERY careful about dealing with this company. I intended to purchase lifetime access to LSATMax as a gift for someone. The company locked the account and informed me that type of purchase violated their policy. I was never made aware of it and tried to get a refund. Since I had already paid, they would not give me any type of refund, and essentially told me I should have read the fine print better. They have since then ghosted me and refuse to respond anymore. When a company is this far away from any type of customer satisfaction, I would not recommend anybody to do business with them. This is especially true for people intending to join the legal field. The company is self-serving and does not even attempt to assist with problems. As devil’s advocate, the reason I purchased the program was because they seem to have very high success rates. Although the company will scam people out of any dollar, I still believe they likely do a good job prepping for the LSAT. If their policies are combed through and strictly followed, it would likely produce good results. However, there are other popular companies for LSAT prep, and I would recommend trusting them with your business over this company.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! They refused to honor their refund guarantee even after I did all of their online modules, some more than once. I met all of the criteria, yet for any reason they can make up, they won't honor the refund. All you should expect is dubbed over online videos for over $1000, so stay away. Spend a couple hundred and purchase the LSAC subscription, save money and trouble.

Easy to use, lectures and notes coupled with the quick, subject-specific practice questions really help the information sink in.

Develop a strong foundation for the LSAT

I appreciated and benefitted from the foundational videos, which gave me a thorough understanding of the LSAT and an awareness of my own strengths and areas of weakness. The classes were also great, allowing for Q&A and providing helpful explanations of challenging questions. My score improved 9 points from my diagnostic to official exam, thanks to LSATMax!
