As the course progresses, the content naturally becomes more challenging as students begin applying concepts in greater depth and developing more advanced skills. The Advanced Modules are designed as additional support resources for students who would like more guided learning in specific areas. While software learning can be a valuable addition, it remains an optional part of the learning journey, with the core focus of the course being on building strong interior design knowledge and principles that can be applied across different tools and approaches. We're also so happy to hear that the Facebook community has been such a helpful resource for you. It’s wonderful to hear how Modules 1–3 helped you discover your creativity and see what you’re capable of achieving in design. Watching confidence and skills grow throughout the course is such an exciting part of the journey. Congratulations as well on achieving a high mark in Module 4, especially after tackling the challenge and embracing new technical skills along the way. We’d also love to mention, for your awareness, that learning the software in Module 4 is completely optional. Students are welcome to explore the software if they wish, but they can also complete their work through hand-drawn designs and sketches if that approach feels more comfortable. It’s especially lovely to hear that you recommended the course to your niece and are now able to encourage and support her through her own learning journey. Sharing your experience and passing along your own tips makes that even more meaningful. We completely understand how challenging the learning curve can feel, especially when entering the course without prior experience in design software or technical drawing. While students are welcome to learn and use software tools such as SketchUp throughout their studies, these are entirely optional and not required for successful course completion. Assignments can also be completed by hand if preferred, allowing students the flexibility to work in a way that feels most comfortable and suitable for their learning style. For those who would like additional guidance and wish to build their software skills further, we also offer an Advanced Module, which provides extra learning opportunities and support for students interested in developing these skills in more depth. That said, feedback like yours is incredibly valuable, as it helps us understand where additional guidance and resources may further support students throughout their learning journey. We do currently have a couple of videos that accompany some of the modules, and we can see that you’ve already watched them — thank you for taking the time to explore those resources! We absolutely understand the value of having more complementary video guidance available within the platform, and it’s something we are actively working on creating more of for students in the future. We also understand the additional fee for the live workshops. While these are optional, we do highly encourage them, as many students find them to be a really valuable and inspiring addition to their studies, with the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals and interact with other students. And it’s lovely to hear how much you’re learning along the way. We also truly appreciate you sharing the parts that have felt unclear or challenging. Software can definitely feel overwhelming at the beginning, especially when there are so many options out there and everyone seems to recommend something different. It’s great that you found Rayon and are continuing to work through it at your own pace. Many students feel exactly the same way in the beginning, and confidence with software really does build gradually over time. Thank you as well for mentioning the module structure and order. That feedback is helpful for us, and we understand how frustrating it can feel when parts of the learning journey don’t feel fully clear yet. Regarding your question about plans and working with third-party trades like electricians, plumbers, or carpenters, the course is designed to give you a strong foundation in creating and understanding design plans and concepts. In real professional settings, technical drawings and construction documents can sometimes require additional experience, local building knowledge, or licensed professionals depending on the project and location. So while the course absolutely helps build those skills and confidence, it’s completely understandable to still feel unsure at this stage. That feeling is very normal while learning. We really appreciate your openness, and we’re so glad overall that you’re loving the course and feeling happy with your decision to study with us.
