What people say

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. I paid a significant amount of money for this course and was one quiz away from completing it when they switched to an entirely new system, erased my progress, and forced me to start over. Communication about the change and deadlines was extremely poor, and support took far too long to respond to my extension request, only to deny it. For the amount they charge, I expected a much more organized, professional, and customer-focused experience. I would not recommend this site.

False Advertisement

The website is advertising a discount code for 2026 CE courses - SAVENOW. It does not work for online CE self-study or the CE webinars. When you talk to the agent, who checks with the back office, they say the code is for the study opposite the one you chose. The code does not work for either one. False advertisement. Very disappointed, and I cannot reach a person at Mortgage Educators myself. To correct, I want the discount to apply. I am a returning client.

very bad

very bad!!Over the past two days, I have sent more than five emails to your official support email address explaining my situation and requesting assistance. However, I have not received a single response from your support team. In addition, I have remained in the online chat support window for more than five hours over the past two days waiting for a response, but I have still received no assistance or communication from your representatives.

New LMS is absolutely HORRIBLE!

The new Learning Management System is awful. It would randomly log you out, then prompt you for 2-4 ID verifications before it would finally work. This was just a 2 hour course, I completed the ID Verification close to 20 times. You can answer a question correctly but still have to wait up to a minute to move to the next question/section. Some questions had answers that were clearly wrong (for instance, a correct answer literally said the maximum fine amount was “$,000.00”). Additionally, our classes were banked within 24-36 hours on the old system at the most. I’m going on 48 hours with nothing banked and given how bad this experience was I’m inclined to think it’s not going to be banked any time soon. This is leading me not to recommend MEC to anyone though I have used it for 6+ years exclusively. This was for one state license, I cannot imagine sitting through 16+ hours of CE dealing with this.

Timers are not matching videos

The video slides and the timers do not match causing the screen to time out due to the video ending before the timer. once the video ends the timer stops and you cant continue so you have to rewatch the video twice to get credit for watching it once. This made an already terrible experience worst.
