Do not buy Ultimate Test Prep together…

Do not buy Ultimate Test Prep together with your course. Instead, purchase it separately from another source if possible. The new version has changed significantly. It no longer lets you practice exams properly. Instead of a practice mode, it takes you directly to the exam interface, where you can only view one question at a time under a time limit. This makes it very inconvenient to review and practice because you can't see all the questions on one page or move through them easily like before. Hope they can change it back to an old version ASAP.

Horrible

To start, their customer service is an absolute joke. There Mississippi training is subpar at best. Their test prep is inadequate, and does not include state test prep, even though it is over 20% of the national test.

if i could give this a 0 star i would. everytime ive gotten to the exam the session expires and the support team makes me pay a reload fee for the 3rd time, unbelievably unacceptable service support and software, NEVER i mean NRVER go thru with this.

Absolutely ridiculous use of BioSig…

Absolutely ridiculous use of BioSig authentication. First of all, not sure what this does to prevent someone from having someone else take the course for them. Second, you literally can't even got to the bathroom without starting sections over and re-authenticating. How bout the program focuses on education instead of treating you like a criminal. Such a waste of time. Only good thing i'll say about it is they finally have a professional presenter who isn't the owner and is at least a decent presenter.

They are a failure

These reviews are very misleading. Dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare! The software is full of glitches and when you call, you will just get someone reading from a script. I sat through 3 sessions of 120 question quizzies to reach the end and no result! When I called, they stated that I never took the tests. Now, these are just practice tests and there would be no benefit for me to say that they were complete. I just needed to see how I did and where I fell short. Also, until all questions are answered, you cant proceed anyways. Another thing, I confirmed certain answers based on research, and they were marked as wrong. When I called to let them know of the glitch on 10 answers, all I got was a script stating that I was wrong. trying to pass the state exam is difficult enough but to add a difficult program that I paid for make for horrible experience. Please go elsewhere, they are not here to help you pass!

Overall course

Overall, this course did not prepare me for the actual NMLS test. It has a lot of great information, but it skimmed over all you need to know. You really need to read the provided material and study additional materials outside the course. I also didn't watch the 30-second video at the end, so I had to take the course all over again and pay the $75 fee to reinstate it, even though they could clearly see I had completed the course. That was disappointing.

They do a great job!!!

The courses get a little better each…

The courses get a little better each year. I still find some mistakes in the information and in the questions on the quizzes. I recommend MEC however and will use them again.

I originally used mortgage educators for my MLO license back in 2021. I had my license expire and was told that I needed to retake the course. So purchased the course 20 HR only to find out I only needed my Late CE course in California. When I called to explain the situation, I was told no refund and no discount on my needed course. You would think they would be able to do something, partial refund, coupon on needed course but was told nothing they could do. Doesn’t seem right especially if these are pre-recorded courses.

This opportunity has allowed me to obtain much flexibility in my strife toward completing this course and attending my current occupation. As I attended work and returned home, the moments to continue progression leading to completion have allowed me to become very grateful.

NMLS Courses with MEC

This is my first time taking MEC courses and loved it! A ton of content but the instructors presented all the material with ease specially David! Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge, I learned so much more than what I expected! I strongly recommend MEC!

The content is outdated

The content is outdated, and flat out wrong sometimes. They're also kind of lazy and do not caption the videos. If the speaker is rubbing their face, or misspeaks, or says something wrong, they do not have them retake the segment. At best, they add text to clarify that what was said was wrong. At several points, they misspelled words, including the word "business" which is honestly embarrassing. I'm sorry but David is hard to listen to/watch for almost twenty hours. The last woman in the last segment is kind of scary to watch as well. I am sorry to say that. And I did reach out to customer service with my course number, and the specific section/topic of the videos with the errant content and they refused to help. It's like they spend their whole budget on the cutesy fake AI stuff and didn't bother using it to at least have their speakers do multiple takes. I regret spending the money.

The best one

David , you are awesome as always, but my only concern is the BIOSIG method . is awful , some times work other times do not, i could not finish my CE in December because of that , is a wasting time ,mos of the time ,inconsistencies. Other than that , your method to teach is the best one and the most enjoyable. Thank You David God bless you

Easy to follow and kept things moving, great for a newbie!

Great course, easy to follow, loved the video and how they changed up instructors to keep it interesting, each had a different style. Case studies were also very helpful to understand the concpts.

Charged Twice

I have taken this course yearly for many years and in 2025 I bought the course and did not start it and had to move to the late course. I was then told I had to purchase a second time even though I never started the first course. I feel this is not right having to pay 2 times. We have enough expenses
