Premium Pre-Sale Experience, Premium Price
Finding great customer service before you even become a customer is rare, which is what stood out during my purchase of the Thunder Nova 35 Plus.
Eric was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough in answering my questions. At no point did I feel pressured, and he helped put the significant investment into perspective. Even after the sale, he has followed up with helpful tips—something I didn’t expect.
I spent considerable time researching alternatives, comparing brands, and speaking with other companies. Many of those interactions were disappointing. Thunder Laser was the clear exception, especially when it came to responsiveness and communication.
The price is higher than many “comparable” machines, but that comparison doesn’t fully hold up. Based on specifications, features, and build quality, it appears to be positioned closer to industrial-grade equipment, which helps justify the cost.
I’m still waiting on delivery, so this review reflects the purchasing experience only—but so far, it has been excellent.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, as our goal is always to support our customers and ensure they are successful with their equipment.
In this situation, our team worked with the customer to provide troubleshooting assistance and additional support options. When the customer decided they did not want to continue with support or training, we made an exception to our standard return policy and agreed to accept the machine back.
Our written policy allows returns of unused machines within 7 days of receipt. In this case, the machine had been used and was well outside of that window. Despite this, we still accepted the return and issued a refund, minus shipping and restocking costs, which were clearly communicated and agreed to prior to the machine being sent back.
After the machine was returned, it was inspected and tested at our facility, where it produced consistent results when configured correctly.
While we understand the customer is frustrated, Thunder Laser USA fulfilled the agreement that was made and worked to resolve the situation beyond what our standard policy requires.
If the customer would like to discuss this further, we are still available to speak directly.

I feel that I can trust this team
Rhonda who handled my inquiries about the thunder products was excellent.
She was knowledgeable about the product and was able to speak to my needs based on the description of the way that I was going to use it. When asked the awkward question about discount she was straight forward and spoke about what they could offer based on full payment up front but also spoke to discount vs value which gave me confidence that the pricing was based on a quality proposition rather than a race to be the cheapest. Also when faced with the opportunity to up sell an item that would have not been a significant advantage to me she chose to tell me that for my application it was not a necessary add on. This gave me confidence in what I was being told and contributed to my feeling comfortable in making this large purchase. I feel that I am choosing to take part in an ongoing equipment ecosystem that I have already a level of trust with and look forward to building with as my business grows.
I had already been doing my homework when it comes to laser engravers. A friend of mine has another brand so I was leaning towards going with it just for the learning curve aspect. However, Thunder Laser USA showed up randomly showed up on my social media and I decided to give them a try. From the very first call they were nice, polite, easy to talk to, answered all my questions, sent me a quote for the two machines I was looking at with no pressure. After talking to my husband we are purchased a machine. I am waiting for it to get here but in the mean time Thunder USA has done a great job of keeping me in the loop of where my machine is and what I should be doing to get ready. I couldn't be more pleased!

Highly Recommend
I bought a Thunder 35 Plus with a 80 RF tube. This machine is a beast and cuts the wood I have put in it like better and engraves beautifully. Set up was super easy and once it was in place it was up and running super fast. I have not had to contact support about anything but the questions I have had are easily answered in their knowledge area of their website. I am so happy with my Thunder Laser and highly recommend!

I went from struggling to succeeding with the addition of a Thunder Bolt. I didn't truly understand what using a laser could be before upgrading from my Gweike Cloud to the Bolt. The experience was honestly shocking, from the moment I got in touch with Thunder, placing my order, shipping, the unboxing and first use, every step was a pleasure. Wow. Just Wow.
Wow. I don't even know how to begin. I bought a Bolt Plus that was delivered in July 2024. Between the time of order and delivery I had an unexpected health crisis. Long story short, the laser sat until February 2026. After unpacking and installing everything, turned the power on, lights on....and then it hung frozen, would not boot beyond the Logo screen. Being it was a Sunday afternoon, I put off contacting customer support until Monday morning. Within moments of firing off an email I received a prompt reply from Chris Myers in Technical Support. Chris asked some questions, requested some photos and guided me through the process. (Even when there was user error on my side). He reviewed the information and determined that the DSP controller was nonfunctional. He provided me with a link and a coupon code that zeroed out the cost of a pricey component. The part should be here in a couple days. He sent me a link with instructions for the install process. My experience has been of the highest quality. THIS is the gold standard to which all customer service should aspire. Well done Thunder Laser USA, well done.
