Purchased a bolt +24. I’ve had this machine for two weeks now, first day I ran 3 material tests, the next day nothing , the machine hasn’t fired since. I have 60+ emails in to their tech department with no success. The tech department has its customers running tests on fan board, laser head, cables etc. it seems to me, the technicians figure we should know their technical jargon. The way I look at it. They should have a technician here at my home, figuring out the problems with this laser, not me.
I absolutely love my thunder nova 24. The process to purchasing was amazing. I took my time and asked several questions and they always had time for me.

I’ve owned the Thunder Nova + 80W
I’ve owned the Thunder Nova + 80W, 51-inch laser for about five months, and it has been an outstanding experience from start to finish.
I regularly engrave on wood, tumblers, glass, leather, denim, T-shirts, and more, and the engraving quality is excellent on every material I’ve used. The machine is powerful, consistent, and the speed is more than sufficient for business-level production.
Setup was very beginner-friendly, which impressed me. Thunder’s documentation and video resources are well done and easy to follow, making the learning curve manageable even for someone new to CO₂ lasers.
I’ve had no negative surprises and zero issues so far. Shipping went smoothly, everything arrived well-packaged, and customer service has been excellent whenever I’ve had questions.
I would confidently recommend this machine to anyone getting into laser engraving, especially small business owners or diode laser owners looking to upgrade. The Nova + feels like a machine you can grow with

Rhonda at Thunder Laser has been absolutely outstanding. She helped me through the buying process the first time, then again the second time… and now the third time. At this point, I’m not even sure where it stops—and honestly, that says a lot.
Each time, she’s been patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, not just trying to “make a sale.” She answers questions clearly, explains options without pressure, and actually listens to what you’re trying to accomplish. That’s rare.

After Many Months
After many months of conversations with Rhonda and a great deal of research I decide on the Thunder UV. Rhonda hung in there with me for the entire process to ensure I picked the right laser for my use. My experience comes from the aerospace enviiroment along with teaching laser engraving at Ashland University where a group of students and I start4ed an engineering program to design and manufacture robotic cars which the students solld to STEM schools. I hav4 a great background in CO2 lasers but, this time I chose a UV. This will be a new experience for me.

We purchased our Thunder USA Nova 51 (130 watt) last summer and have used it extensively since day one. This machine has been nothing short of amazing. The speed, accuracy, and cut/engrave quality are outstanding and have exceeded our expectations across the board.
It runs smoothly, holds tight tolerances, and delivers consistent results whether we’re engraving fine detail or cutting thicker materials. Even with heavy, near-daily use, it hasn’t skipped a beat. No downtime. No headaches. No drama.
We haven’t needed service or technical support yet—which honestly says a lot—but based on Thunder’s reputation, we’re confident support would be there if we ever needed it.

Amazing Customer Service
I purchased a nova 51 last year and initially had issues with the camera not working so I decided to run the machine without. Fast forward a year later and I decided to try it again thinking it was a programing issue. With no luck, I contacted support and Chris Myers assisted me in getting out a replacement camera. Plugged it in and boom, everything functions as it should. Awesome customer service and the machine itself, amazing! Thanks for the great product and supprt!!
Thunder Laser has provided a pivotal machine for our business. Since we accquired a CO2 Laser our printing capabilities have multiplied tenfold! We had a maintainence issue where I thought the entire laser was broken, turns out it was a super simple fix. This is my first laser (Nova 24 plus). Seems like a really well built machine. Thunder is an awesome company. I haven’t needed customer service yet but have encountered the service team on several occasions and find them excellent. I was a little worried about jumping in the laser community. My biggest worry was learning LightBurn but this has been really straight forward because of all the videos on YouTube and the bi-weekly vlog Thunder has.
