I signed up for their 7-day trial and used it for only a few minutes to see how it worked. Later, I closed it and forgot to cancel my trial. Without sending any early email, they simply deducted money from my card. It's been a month, and I've been chasing them to refund my money, but their service is pathetic. They always say I checked the agreement during sign-up. Come on, man, I said multiple times it was a mistake, and they never informed me earlier that the amount would be deducted for the trial. To all, be aware of it. Don't buy anything if you are not satisfied with their product. They are not going to pay you back anything.

Do Not Waste Your Money I had an extremely disappointing experience with TopResumes.com. From the start, the process felt disorganized. Their platform appears to be a patchwork of systems from companies they’ve acquired and stitched together. Large portions of it simply did not function properly, which made communication and document review frustrating and inefficient. The resume I received was four pages long — completely out of alignment with current U.S. best practices. Most recruiters spend seconds scanning a resume, and a four-page document is unrealistic for most professionals. The career bio they provided was over ten paragraphs long. No hiring manager is going to read something that lengthy. It demonstrated a lack of understanding of how resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and professional branding actually work in today’s U.S. market. Despite their promises and guarantees, the final product did not reflect strategic positioning, executive-level branding, or modern formatting standards. It felt generic, inflated, and poorly tailored. If you are serious about your career search, save your money and work with someone who understands your industry, market, and hiring landscape. I would not recommend this service.

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would give TopResume exactly that. I paid $ 250+ to get their resume services which came with the guarantee to land 3 interviews in first 60 days. It is beyond 60 days, NOTHING HAPPENED. Not a single interview. No measurable results. Not even a single recruiter reached out. The guarantees used to sell this service were completely meaningless and never honored. On top of that, they did not work on my resume in any meaningful or professional way. There was NOT even improvement in structure/format, no strategic positioning, nothing. The so-called resume editor simply took my existing resume and rephrased it, exactly like an AI tool would, without adding any insight, value, or expertise. I wasted both time and money trusting this company with my career. The quality of work was unacceptable, the promises were misleading, and the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. This service failed on every level. I am requesting a full refund and strongly warn others to avoid this company unless they are comfortable paying for empty guarantees, low-effort work, and zero accountability.

I am currently conducting my 2nd service with TopResume after my previous draft from 2yrs ago. Although I received a discount for this purchase; honestly, I don't think I'll be using their services anymore due to the inconsistencies per draft. Example Draft #1: short-handed some updates, which I addressed in the messages. Draft #2: extended the updates via job description summary NOT as an additional bullet. Job title and locations were missing from the additional revisions--efforts are diminishing.
