Hi. Topstep chose to close my account, but first after I finally made it to live after making more than 50k in profits. I even needed 2-3 trading days more and I could withdraw 18k in profits from my 3 funded express accounts. All this due to a dispute from my bank for money they charged back. I had an issue where my a few of my credit cards got used online by people that got my information. When my bank wanted to dispute the amounts that got charged from my card, they also by mistake disputed the one from Topstep. I offered TopStep to pay the amount that was disputed, and I told them I had no say so or any form of power on that choice from the bank. This was purely for them to find a reason to get rid of me from making it. I told them about how many sleepless nights and days analysing charts and trading I’ve been through to reach this level. I told them about all the money I put into their website for me to make it. I invested everything I had into myself, just to make it. This was my last shot at trading, and they crushed all of those days of hard work for a disputed amount from the bank. This is the most unfair situation I have ever been in through out my whole life. I have a big audience inside the trading community where I told them about this and told them to avoid Topstep at any time. Because when you start to do good, they will find the slightest and smallest thing to get you closed. If they had any kind of fairness, they would had given me the opportunity to either pay the amounts that was owed to them, or gave me a warning. AT least they could do this before me making it this far, but nope, they do it when you get moved to live. Please AVOID this place by any possible means if you really have big dreams in making it on trading. They ruined my whole 6 months of trading inside their website. Biggest disappointment in my life.

After a month since requesting payout the now have sent an email saying my Kyc had inconsistencies and my payout is denied after already approving the Kyc twice. I made $1000 and will receive nothing, there was no problem with the Kyc before I got a payout Ofcourse so that they can just take your money

I am absolutely shocked and devastated…

I am absolutely shocked and devastated by my experience with Topstep. After months of hard work, I had three Express Funded Accounts, all eligible for payouts, each with around $7,000 in profits. Instead of receiving the payouts I had worked so hard for, all of my accounts were suddenly terminated. Topstep accused me of KYC verification fraud and credit card fraud. I categorically deny these allegations. According to them, I supposedly completed the KYC verification for other traders and even took the required selfies on their behalf. This is simply not true. I never impersonated anyone or completed a verification for someone else. They claim that the KYC verification sessions were recorded. If that is true, then they should release the recordings because they would clearly show that each person completed their own verification and that the accusations against me are unfounded. Despite the seriousness of these allegations, I was provided with no evidence whatsoever. My accounts were simply closed, my payouts denied, and I was permanently banned. I paid for every Combine with my own money, followed the trading rules, and invested countless hours building these accounts. In the end, I lost three eligible payouts, all of my hard work, and my reputation was damaged by accusations that I firmly dispute. I am sharing my experience so that others are aware of what happened to me before deciding to invest their time and money with Topstep.

I had an issue with their system, it bugged out and accidentally reset the wrong account. It reset an account I was up almost $2k in profit. I contacted support, and Alex (being the rock star she is) immediately took care of it, made my accounts whole again, and did it all so fast, it was like it never happened. These guys care.

I have been with these guys since…

I have been with these guys since before they became a bucket shop. Combines used to be way more difficult and it was true straight to live. Now incentives are not aligned. MP bit off way more than he was smart enough to chew, and now they have resorted to rug pulling profitable traders and other shady practices to make up for his poor judgement and lack of care in protecting what could have been a great company. Strongly suggest you find a shop that supports Ninja Trader and stay away from ProjectX and TopStep.

Do not use TopStep

Terrible rules,they just lowered max payouts, scamming people with DLL rules and responsible trading programs, force you to use their TopstepX platform, Terrible customer service, they answer but they don't solve anything just additionally add to your frustration! I would not recommend to anyone!

the system does seem to make me a better trader, but that's also just my committment to the process. i appreciate them as i do all life lessons. they are people just like anyone, so people tendencies rule as they most likely always will. i don't have as much experience yet as others so take my input with a grain of salt. if you want to be happy and look for happy things, then most likely you will find it. if you want to be negative and focus on the negative, then you will find it. you choose.
