Sent non-compatible toner cartridges, resistant to refund $
Ordered replacement cartridges for my HP printer 3301cdw on 7/20/26 from True Image Tech. Installed cartridges but immediately got an error message that chips were not compatible. Instructions say to press “hide” to override error message. Worked temporarily then blue, pink and yellow lines appeared on my page. Contacted customer service via email because phone numbers listed in email do not work and they said let’s make it right and sent another set…. Same result. I followed their instructions via printer settings to turn off chip reader. Same results, lines across page etc. They blamed their warehouse for shipping wrong cartridges and requested pics of both sets of cartridges, model of printer etc. I sent per their request, have done everything requested., just want a refund. Their website says guaranteed, but we’ve tried twice, my printer has been down for 16 days… I put my original cartridges back in the printer and it recognizes my cartridges (although faint as they need replacement) and prints fine. I want my money back, they seem resistant to refund my money and want to continue to ship me cartridges. If they want their cartridges back I want a prepaid return label. If you asked me if I would purchase from this company again, I would say no. I have emails to back up my stated claim above.

I made the horrible stupid error of buying a laser printer before checking how much it cost to refill it. For me, the printer itself was pricey at over $500, but when I went to refill it I found out it would cost double that.
So I looked to highly reviewed 3rd party manufacturers in the hope that I could have it both ways - a cheaper product with just as good a quality. Unfortunately, in my case, the drop in quality was clear. Colors and prints were far less vibrant.
I brought this up with the company and they graciously offered to send me a CYAN replacement in the hopes it would fix things. That was awesome of them, and I greatly appreciate it, but unfortunately everything still looked washed out compared to the OEM version. It will work - and if you just need OK this is a fine choice.
So that's my review. Some people will be perfectly happy with the result, and indeed, I'd still rather do this - spend $200 on refills instead of $1,000 . . . BUT the result is still a bit depressing for me, and if the quality of the print is important to you you might very well feel the same. Again - great customer service, but a definite trade off on the result.
