Trupanion is the best pet insurance by far! I have insurance on four of my pets, and it’s very nice to make decisions about their care solely about what’s best for them, and not about money. My veterinarians submit claims directly to Trupanion for approval, and are paid directly within an hour allowing me to simply pay the remaining balance. I heartily recommend Trupanion to pet owners everywhere!

I am surprised that my 10% copayment is also taken from my $1,000 deductible. I'm thinking of changing insurance to another company. Trupanion sounds good until they have a claim.

Really appreciated how my animal passing away was handled. I was immediately refunded for the premium I had paid past his date of passing. I thought I had just lost that money all together but with the extra Vet bills - it was really nice to get some money back.

I have had amazing service with Trupanion. Whenever I call for information the Reps are helpful and very knowledgable. The insurance is great. My dog has had numerous health issues throughout the years and Trupanion has always taken care of bills in a timely manner. I recommend Trupanion to anyone who asks about their insurance. Trupanion always processes my claims quickly and let's me know where they are in the process. The only thing I don't like is the 3am text message telling me the claim has been finalized!

I was lucky and happened to have a trial period of trupanion insurance after I took my puppy to his first vet appt. Unfortunately weeks later the puppy was in an accident that required him to be taken to an emergency vet! Gus was in the "ICU" for two days, which led to increasing costs. Then I remembered I had this trial period and the ER Vet was able to get the claim processed with Trupanion and there was no requirement from me. I was very impressed with how smooth the whole process was and immediately continued the policy for Gus. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone looking for affordable, reliable pet insurance.

We just picked up our kitty from ICU hospitalization overnight. She had bitten an electric cord and had burned her mouth, tongue and esophagus. Our bill
was $1565.99 Truepanion paid $1201.40. We were surprised and delighted. She's doing well. This is by far the best pet insurance we have ever dealt with.
