Amazing it takes a huge pourcentage but worth it
My experience on this platform is okay… with the client, perfect. But my issue is with your withdrawal method… you hold our money for too long, 5 working days is too long a time for a job I’ve just completed a job and the client has approved the contract with no issues but I have to wait for 5 working days before I can withdraw my money . Please REDUCE THE WAITING TIME. Also this newly imposed taxing method on us making withdrawals to our US accounts as a foreigner living outside of the US is absurd … you guys get about 15% of any of our earnings on the platform, still tax us… now withdrawing Directly to our US accounts as a foreigner living outside of US will still attract more tax… its very unfair and unreasonable. Please this should be reviewed. So if i do a job of worth $100 and u get 15% of this including tax reduction I’ll be left with roughly $83 now minus your $2.99 for the direct withdrawal tax fee.. that’s about $80.1 Now converting it and withdrawing to my local bank in my home country may attract about $1-2 fee… how much I’m I left with? All this money reduction with the Bureaucracy is frustrating please. I just hope this would be taken into consideration. Peace ✌️ and love ❤️

The most greedy platform. I have been on this platform for 15 years. Always loyal, always ended up working with clients via UpWork. Now their stock has tanked and the company is trying to report profit, so what do they do? They charge the client and the freelancer. Buying tokens, charging fees everywhere for everything. From now on, I will find a client and remove our contract from UpWork. This is the worst platform to work ever.

The customer service response time is horrendous. 3 Days of back-and-forth with huge delays of up to 22 hours without any resolution, and then they have the gall to state the action was resolved. Their team has delayed multiple projects, causing massive frustration on both ends. If you want a freelance service without you and your clients having a massive headache, do not go for this company.
