The cost is rediculous
The cost is rediculous, the fact that my internet restarts on the 12th of the months and by the 17th of the mo ey it's down to barely dial up speed. I can't afford a bigger package...and since I live way out in the country I am severely limited...so it's you or Huhgesnet which is far worse...and then you have start link...pretty sure that would suck bi Donkey balls too.
My download speeds are slow compared to my son-n-laws who has star link for his internet services. There are five in his family who are regularly streaming movies and playing online games with friends and their speeds hardly ever slow down.Plus their plan gives unlimited service. They are paying the same amount I pay for limited service 60gb. I’m looking into changing my service to Starlink.
What experience I had when they did Viasat equipment installation
Person who serviced my address was knowledgeable. The only thing that was not effective and efficient was setting up new Viasat password for router was not very helpful and did not ask to assist on getting it done before he left . Took me awhile to finalize this by myself. Date this occurred was when I had them install my Viasat equipment. Do not remember exact date
Good internet service. VOIP can be spotty sometimes, but without satellite internet we might not have internet here. Cellular signal is next to non-existent here as well, and the phone companies (land lines) abandoned us years ago. So, 4 stars - could be better, but it's pretty good and great to have.
We've had Viasat for a number years now, so the single date for our "experience" would be better as about a 5 year date range, but that wasn't an option.
The "buffering" of the television programs while watching severely detracts from the pleasure of watching!
Viasat techs have been very professional and competent in diagnosing, and correcting problems in the past.
The issue that is problematical is the recurring "buffering" that repeatedly interrupts the show we're viewing. Right in the middle of a scene. The image freezes, the sound stops. Then after 15-20 seconds, the "buffering" stops and the show resumes.... until about 15 minutes later, the "buffering" returns with the same freeze-and-stop results. Very very very frustrating!!!! This occurs especially after 7:000pm, we have noticed. Why is this occurring? Please please correct this issue. 🙏🏾 Then I will have NO issues at all with Viasat!!!
Sincerely,
Luther
