My experience with Wanttopay Easy was disappointing.
I paid RUB 1,692.50 in total: RUB 693 for issuance plus a mandatory $10 deposit. I only used the card a few times, but top-ups were inconsistent, sometimes taking 10 minutes and sometimes close to an hour. More importantly, several payments I bought the card for were declined.
I therefore asked to stop using the service and requested a refund of the issuance fee. Support refused and repeatedly referred to the terms stating that the fee is non-refundable.
When I specifically asked what actual costs had been incurred to justify keeping the entire RUB 693 fee, they did not provide a breakdown.
The $10 deposit can apparently be transferred back to the internal balance, but the issuance fee is simply kept regardless of whether the card is useful for the customer.
Based on my experience, I would not use this service EVER again.
I used their services for around a year and everything went smooth. However, there was one issue with cards' provider in stopping their services, right at the time I was waiting for a refund. As I had no experience and info, I replaced the card of the closing provider for a new one, meaning having no access to money that were in the previous card. Nevertheless, the WantToPay Support has helped to finally return the money back even though the previous services provider got closed so it was unable to access the money. The company returned the refund from its own resources which means the service has responsibility for its user's money. It took several months, but in the end I have returned the full amount of money. Thank you!
