Send some money like every month to family in Mexico and I received an email confirming pick up but they couldn't, they give a ticket that's says transaction non realized, they try 3 or 4 times, already did the claim but no news or an email that says they are investigating or a refund

I wrote a Review about 6 months ago in regards to help with the new ID process. I had problems , required help; over and over no one could help me as I did not know how to download info etc and some Questions were strange , very personal. After many calls for assistance told " If you don't send ID etc you cannot deal with us. "Even 'blocked' me from sending funds (cash) through Australia Post ! 6 months later I navigated my way with difficulty with the required Photo ID etc and it got approved. Still could not send funds! 2 -3 Phones calls assured all the info was received. Had to wait 21 days! Did so , not able to send. Told to wait another few days...did so ; again still unable. Rung WU again and advised that they did not receive( or was no longer there!) any ID info! Lost! Had a priority E Mail contact sent by them after I enquired about it all, with a Tracking Number in which they did not follow up within the promised 3 days... On calling them verified that it was their E Mail and address but had no record of the E Mail or Tracking number... Obviously they "Lose' information! I said that I would forward that 'lost' E Mail for an investigation into the whole incident ( ie where did the 'Mail' sent with my Photo ID and info end up??? ) and they could not provide me with an E Mail address to send the information to... The only thing I could do , as 6 months previous was to provide my Photo ID again! I wish , now regret( above my reluctance initially) sending it as was lost/ misplaced. Where are the initial copies of my ID now??? They lost as stated an enquiry E Mail with a Tracking number that does not exist! So obviously have a history of misplacing Documents! Horrible...it all just gets worse , the Customer Service is disgraceful and has no knowledge or skill to solve simple issues. I asked to talk to their security in order to investigate but no way to do that! Still can't send Money and copies of my ID missing!

The app' used to be a bit unpredictable,but has got better in recent times. Use it to send money and always choose Western Union due to the easy access and available locations for collection.

I have used Western Union several times over the years to send money to family abroad and clear up some unexpected expenses. Here is my honest, firsthand take on how they actually perform when you are the one trying to move money

Take a very long time in verifying

What I dislike is the cookie taking a very long time to verify before and after logging. The website would not let you to continue with the transaction resulting in re-logging in and shutting the webpage and starting all over again a few times. This results in taking at least half an hour before the transaction is successful and is frustrating. The website must be corrected.
