I made my initial payment on July 10, had my installation thereafter for broadband service. Since then, more than a week has passed and the internet service hasn't worked yet.
Support replies but its always very vague (verbatim the only thing they said is "backend problem") and "it'll be fixed soon" or a random date that's never adhered to.
Only consider Whizcomms if you are okay with paying immediately and waiting potentially more than a month before service starts with support not being able to help with even providing a simple eta to when you can expect a resolution. The worst service imaginable, but at least support is friendly but utterly unhelpful.
One of the worst internet providers in Singapore. Please avoid them completely if you need reliable internet connection.
I took a 2 year subscription by mistake, There is internet disconnectivity often and its annoying when it happens during an important meeting. The support is even worse. I wonder if they were trained to handle customer support.
Speed also mediocre. They advertise 10 GBPS but give you 2.5 GPBS router.
Please pay a bit extra and get better internet connection with Singtel or Starhub rather than whizcomms.
Very unstable broadband service provider. In my almost 2-year subscription with them, there were at least 4 occasions where there wasn’t any internet signals and I had to chat with the Helpdesk (no way to connect with them via phone call). And often, the issue didn’t get resolved in just 1 chat session.
Simply The WORST!!! MY experience dealing with this company is simply a lost for words.. From Billing to customer service and experience, it simply doesnt measure up. Proceed at your own risk. I wouldnt deal with them even if their services were for free!!
Offers fast broadband subscription at a bargain price using Singtel infrastructure. However, the sign-up process is archaic. And they categorically do not allow any settings to be customized on their ONR (including simple port forwarding).
Updating this review a year later. After being a good customer for a year they reward me with a fee increase unless I sign a new contract. Come on Whizcomms, why do you want to alienate a good customer instead of just rolling an existing user from month to month at the same rate?
