We advise ordering & planting our "Fruiting Size" blueberry plants prior to February 15th if you want to see a decent harvest the same year. Blueberry plants that are planted after February 15th may not produce a decent crop due to the proximity of transplant adjustment to production time. You should get a good crop next season!

This customer originally ordered a very large persimmon tree that was beautiful and performed extremely well, which is why they returned. Unfortunately, they returned to buy all the very smallest items in our catalogue (with exception of a cherry and some blueberry plants that are doing well by their own admission). These small items require a different approach than larger plants and after we gave advice on how to plant, were confronted with this reply: "Anyway, I don't intend to waste more time discussing this topic with you. The steps you described for planting fruit trees is laughable, and you are either pretending not to know that soil needs amendments for fruit trees, or just don't know, which is remarkable, considering the tone you're taking in your messages." The customer was replied to with the following statement: "Your comments suggesting I don't know about growing trees, despite planting around 300,000 trees a year, are interesting but uncalled for. Have a wonderful rest of your day!" We are upfront and honest about our replacement and warranty policy. You buy trees, we ship them to you, if they are in good condition - you plant them. If they are not in good condition - you contact us immediately to let us know. If they die, we give you a credit to use towards a replacement order. The things you buy with that credit are not under warranty. They ARE the warranty from the original plants, essentially a "second chance" for the customer. We hope the trees that this customer has that lived continue to do extremely well (as they have thus far) and they enjoy them. We are sorry the ones that failed, failed - however we have fulfilled our obligation to replace them already.
