Poor experience. Workana disabled my account without any reasons or explanation, notify. Also regarding my message to support team still not get any replies. And this is another mistake of this platform. Even if a freelancer is interested in a project but has no intention of working with the client, they are still obligated to accept the project once the client accepts their bid. Some clients dont hesitate to post fake job listings or leave negative reviews for freelancers. In light of these issues, I recommend exploring other freelancing platforms instead. Dont use this platform.

My experience has been consistently positive. I really enjoy working with the system you have in place; it is very efficient and well-structured.

The site used to be a good source of clients for freelancers, at one point representing 60% of my monthly income. Today it's just a shadow of that, a graveyard of bad projects and unfair competition, with freelancers from Eastern European countries and Japan charging ridiculously low prices for complex projects. If you're willing to sell several bad services for very little money, maybe it's for you; there's plenty of that there. If you're the type who knows the value of your work, then I wouldn't recommend it highly.

Back then(2023~2024), it had opportunities for freelance work that were worth the trouble of constantly updating and searching through the hundreds of opportunities. But by the time I left, the website had way too many fake job opportunities and with limited proposals per week, it was too much of a hassle.
workana, don't lose it!
well workana, had an easy way to get unconventional jobs that were not just the same web garbage oriented, unlike other services, altough that is gradually changing now, and i see that my friend had a HUGE time getting it's first job there, while for me it was easier (6 years earlier), if workana promote more non popular jobs, and help newcomers that enjoy C for example, fix their hard to show C knowledge and other lower level stuff instead of high level boring garbage, it can be a 5 start service that i would trully love and recommend :)
