FRAUD!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I signed up and never got confirmation or login credentials. I have spent months trying to cancel my subscription and get a refund for an app I could never log into. Time after time I get an automated bot response asking me the same questions over and over promising me a human will review my case and respond and months later still no resolution and I’m out several hundred dollars for an app I could never log into. Total fraud!!!!

I decided to give it a go. I was charged additionally with a huge amount, it attempted to charge me almost 10 times more the initially agreed upon amount without any option to not accept the charges and no verification to continue. When I requested a full refund, they denied the refund unless I used the product for 7 days and send them screenshots.

I like the content & the day I signed up, I was able to do multiple days in a row now I can only do one day at a time. I understand the logic behind that but the days are extremely short so being able to move along at my pace would be preferable.

I did not realize I had a window of time to respond after my initial review in June so I’m posting my update from 19 July here. Background: After my initial review on 19 June, I took to emailing and calling Work with Shadow multiple times hoping that would resolve things and it has not. To date, there has been no response to my multiple emails both in app and regular email, no way to get a human on the phone, and my multiple calls which state my issue will be escalated go unresolved. Shadow’s response to my June TrustPilot post was that I deleted the app vs. canceled the plan which is not the case; I work in IT so I know how this works. The total dollar amount I’ve being charged keeps climbing. I’m a single mom of 2 kids, I’m a US Veteran, and I work full time while trying to better myself mentally and spiritually and I don’t have time to track down scammers. However, rest assured I will make this a priority now that my kids’ birthdays and family visits are behind me for the summer. Below is the updated I provide to my June post from 19 July: Update on 19 July: I have repeatedly emailed and called with no responses and just got charged again. My account is tied to the same email used for this account/post (JLFloydDenman at Gmail). It is interesting that I can call the number, never get a human voice; however, the chatbot can pull up my account, tell me what I am being charged, apologize that I am being charged after telling me it is easy to cancel, create a case (with no case number), mark it as urgent and claim it is escalated, tell me someone will be in touch, which never happens. Yet, in the response below (on 19 June) you cannot see my account, you can just let me know I deleted the app without canceling the subscription, which is not true. This is truly a scam and a time suck. I sent another email to the hello account a few minutes ago, after another call to the chatbot this past Friday with another escalated case. I am a loss and this needs to be fixed ASAP.

A scam company registered in Cyprus! They use professionally crafted, misleading adverts to swindle as much money out of you as possible. Be careful with them! I signed up for a monthly plan costing around $10 (€9.55). At the same time, they also debited €27.29, which I hadn’t intended to choose, but the website is extremely misleading and confusing. Then, following this brazen deception, came the actual attempt to steal my money: I only realised afterwards that, on top of all this, they’d tried to take €54.59 from my account! The only reason they didn’t succeed was because there were insufficient funds on my store card. I blocked it straight away. Over the past month, they have attempted to steal my €54.59 at least another 4 or 5 times. Even today. I’ve had enough of this brazen behaviour. This clearly shows that, instead of providing a genuine service, the entire team at workwithshadow.com specialises in stealing money. They’ve ‘spent so much time dealing with the shadow’ that the completely dark side of their personalities has taken over. Don’t even accidentally click on anything in their adverts! After realising there was a problem, I didn’t even attempt to unsubscribe from any of their ‘services’, as I was afraid I’d fall into further traps. This isn’t a service anyway, because, as I wrote above, they tried to deduct the ‘monthly fee’ numerous times within a single month. (and it wasn’t even the amount I’d signed up for) They do indeed deduct it from the accounts of the unwary. You can read many such reports here on Trustpilot. And they have the nerve to write that they’re sorry, that it was a mistake. Be careful, because they can cheat you out of hundreds of dollars or euros within a few days! Scammers!! Thieves!!!
