I liked that I had at least a couple of my friends on my trip, and that I got to choose who I had a room with. I wish we would’ve had a little more downtime to decompress when we were at the hotel, so a little looser and relaxed schedule, maybe?
Everything provided was excellent. The cold and wet wash clothes were wonderful after our tours through the temples, jungles and ruins. The restaurant and hotel selections were very comfortable. The breakfast buffets had a wide and delicious variety. And our tour guides and drivers were the best. My only recommendation would be to add a free day to each location, so I could have had more time to shop and explore the cities on our own.
The places we visited were amazing. History came to life for my son and I. Some places I wish we had more time while others it was just right. Some of the sit down places we went to eat did not seem happy to see us. I felt that sense of eat and get out. Vetting places would seem beneficial. While I understand the weather is out of your control. I don't understand how an agency makes a school feel abandoned when flights are cancelled. We had to arrange transportation and lodging for our kids when the weather shut down the airport. We had to arrange meals for the children, and we had to get them home. There was no contingency plan. There was no protocol. There was one poor representative helping trying to re-book. But there was no representative, worried about the rest. There were just us parents and teachers using their credit cards to help out. I've never felt so disappointed in a company.
Raul was a great, accommodating guide! We saw so many amazing things and had such a happy trip.
I loved that you accommodated us folks that wanted to change our return date. Your guides, Giulia and Teresia were excellent in leading, communicating, and solving any difficulties. The two bus drivers went beyond to assist our tours. Check in at hotels was too late in the day.

It was top tier! The hotels were amazing. The food was superb. The excursions were the opportunity of a lifetime. Our tour director was the BEST!

WorldStrides provides great tours, exceptional customer service, and memorable experiences.
Sarah our tour guide and Barry the driver were simply the best. So knowledgable and helpful. Patient and understanding with our students. Some of the language used in the descriptions before the trip and what was given on the ground were misleading. We thought to have some tours on the ground which were actually just a bus tour driving by. This would be a great place to make a clarification in the sales language of what is a physical tour versus a walking tour versus a bus drive by tour.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT, THE HOTELS WERE TERRIBLE..........THE ROOMS WERE IN TERRIBLE LOCATIONS AND WERE TERRIBLY SMAILL, I WAS ONE PERSON IN A ROOM AND I COULDN'T EVEN TURN AROUND, I COULDN'T EVEN IMAGINE THE PEOPLE THAT WERE TWO TO A ROOM. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IBIS TO AN ADULT GROUP, MIGHT BE FINE FOR KID TOURS BUT NOT ADULTS

Having the same Guide throughout the entire trip made it more personable, connected the whole trip between countries and gave it a more meaningful experience getting to know the guide and learn from them. Leo did a great job!!

It was a great trip. Only thing was when we got to the hotel, we weren’t allowed to go to the room. We were tired and would have appreciated washing my face and store our luggage. We had to leave it in a room off the lobby. I’m not thrilled about the rooms either. It was an institutional and drab place.

I had an incredible experience traveling with WorldStrides/Explorica as a chaperone. From start to finish, everything was well organized, and the trip exceeded my expectations. The tour directors were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, professional, and always available to answer questions or help with anything that came up. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made the experience special for both the students and the chaperones. One thing that really stood out was the food. I've been on several student tours over the years, and this was by far the best food I've had on any of them. The meals offered a great variety and were consistently high quality, which made a big difference throughout the trip. Overall, WorldStrides/Explorica provided an unforgettable experience. Our guide was friendly, super interesting, and helpful, answering all of my questions with great info. We were able to see SO many landmarks all over D.C., and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I learned to know so many of my classmates better, and we had an amazing time!

I love traveling with Explorica! Explorica is the only travel company I will work with after a couple of bad experiences with another tour company. Explorica has the best tour guides, and I love how Explorica listens to where I want to travel with my group and then creates a custom itinerary. They are the best in the industry!
