Overall the trip was great. The experiences were good and my child enjoyed visiting a new place. The one downside was that my child’s school was paired with two other schools for the duration of the trip. At some of the hotels a student that my child didn’t know was paired with her for sleeping arrangements. This was very uncomfortable for her.

Our tour director, Elton, and our bus driver, Antonio, were fantastic during our tour. The hotel in Bolonga was good, the hotel outside of Florence was fantastic! However the hotel in Rome left a lot to be desired—the staff, rooms and breakfast were sub par. The activities were good as were the dinners. Would have liked more than 1.5hrs for lunch and free time in the cities. The entire planning process before the tour was sub par—the group’s original itinerary was Taste of France.

This trip was everything that I expected and more. We saw the leaning tower of Pisa, Florence, rode a gondola in Venice, strolled through Assisi and did the tour in Rome of the Ancient Ruins and the colosseum. The last day we visited the Vatican. Our tour director was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate the groups needs. The places that we ate had large portions and very authentic Italian foods such as pizza and different pasta dishes. If given the opportunity I would definitely go back again someday.

The tour guides were great. We had some issues with one on our groups hotel room the first few nights but the hotel did a great job with compensation. There were some communication issues with the guides before we arrived but once we were all together they did an amazing job.

Our tour guide was phenomenal. She kept the group together and informed. She gave a personal touch to all of our needs and made schedule modifications when needed. The arranged meals were great. The coach driver worked hand in hand with the guide making our tour enjoyable and kept us where we were to be and on time.

My trip was awesome from beginning to end. Starting with my agent, Alex Pavia and ending with our tour director in Greece, Catherine Yakoumis. Excellent service and very professional women.
Our Tour Guide Mike was excellent! The heat made an impact however on our ability to move at a pace he would have liked. We did feel more rushed and would have liked to tour museums more.

The trip was fabulous and although the return flight home was cancelled twice, the organization helped to ensure the kids had things to do on the extra day and all went smoothly.

Everything that was promised on the itinerary is what we got. Hugo was a wonderful guide letting us know about the various animals and plants of Costa Rica. He had plenty of cultural and historical information to add as well. Everything was communicated well and each stop from hiking in the rainforest to white water rafting was well planned. The accommodations were clean and the staff friendly. Our bus driver got us to all locations on time. The food was great. We even got to do a few things that were not on the itinerary such as going to a Catholic Mass, two unscheduled walks on the beach, shopping, and lots of friendly cats and dogs.
Brian S our tour guide made our trip amazing! We had some questionable restaurant choices and on the way home all of my students had to sit in the middle seat and were separated from each other and myself. Despite those two pretty big negatives that I am sure won't happen again, Brian made our trip amazing!

The guide in Boston made statements of facts in history that were completely wrong, she made multiple statements over 2.5 days like this to a group of Histroy students and history teachers. She and the bus driver had absolutely horrid sense of direction getting lost multiple times costing us hours of additional bus time in 2.5 days. We missed out on attractions on our itinerary because of the extra bis time and when we did get to 2 different stops those were not prepared for our group to arrive so we missed out on what we were supposed to see. We wasted half a day in Boston because the itinerary didn’t schedule things correctly (I.e. Plymouth Rock and John Adams house on seperate days even though we were staying north of Boston), meals at restaurants were not ready for us or when we arrived and multiple meals were not correct to accommodate some kids needs. Those kids missed out on the meal all together because it couldn’t be done in time to eat with the rest of the group, singling out those kids. The bus driver got lost again from Philly to Washington DC, turning a 2:45 drive into a 4 hr drive, because he didn’t review his directions to ensure he could drive on all the roads with his bus. Circling around Baltimore, unprofessional and careless. He did the same thing in Washington DC, arguing which way he could go except this guide ensured that he was incorrect and could travel the route we needed to go to Mt Vernon, passing by a police officer with no issue. Had our guide in DC push for this route then we would have only had 1.5 hr at MT Vernon instead of the 3HRS we had. Our DC guide was very good, our Philly guide was good, our Boston guide was awful. Our hotel floors were to have guards to ensure safety of our traveling kids, one hotel did not and we had such a problem there that police were dispatched and a report filed. Overall this trip was bad enough that I wouldn’t trust a world strides coordinated trip again.
