Very Unsatisfied. I paid extra for Aelfric Eden's "Worry-Free" return protection because I wanted a simple, hassle-free return if I needed one. Instead, it became one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I've had. Rather than handling the return themselves, Aelfric Eden handed me off to a third-party returns provider. That wasn't made clear when I purchased the additional protection. When I tried to initiate my return, I couldn't reach a person. I was forced to interact with a chatbot that initially appeared to be processing my return successfully, only to send me into the same endless loop over and over again with no way to complete the process. I contacted support multiple times by both email and phone, explained exactly what was happening, and repeatedly received canned responses that didn't address the problem or answer my questions. It genuinely felt like no one had read what I had written. The only time anything actually moved forward was after I disputed the charge with American Express. Only then did the company finally provide a way to complete the return. Now, more than a month later, Aelfric Eden has both my merchandise and my money. They acknowledged receiving my return, but I still have not received my refund. Charging customers extra for "Worry-Free" returns while forcing them through broken systems, chatbot loops, canned responses, and weeks of unnecessary effort is the opposite of worry-free. I can't recommend buying from Aelfric Eden based on this experience. A company should be judged not only by how it sells products, but by how it treats customers when something goes wrong. In my experience, Aelfric Eden failed that test.

I recently placed an order and accidentally selected the wrong size. I emailed them to request a size change, and they replied within just 10 minutes, confirming that my hoodie would be changed to the correct size. I also contacted them on Instagram to get additional confirmation, and they responded there within a few hours as well. I am very satisfied with their customer service. My experience with aelfric eden was a bit half and half, many reviews suggested sizing up for a proper fit. i did that and the pant i received was much too large. though the customer service was relatively fast. and personally i would have preferred talking with a real staff member the responses were efficient. overall good experience and to add, quality and general silhouette of pants very high and very good.

I will not order direct from Aelfric Eden again. It took over a month for delivery. Horrible communications, broken promises, it was like dealing with a boyfriend. The quality of their product is great. I receive compliments wherever I wear the clothes, but if I buy anything else from them I will order from Amazon, and not the company directly. It was truly a horrible experience. I used to tell people about the company. Now when I get compliments, I will not say their name. I say, "some company online." I don't want people to have the same experience I had. They didn't even offer a concession for the experience. It was not the best. Great clothes though.

Honestly was gutted when I got my jacket and found some tears in it. However, the team at AE are incredible, they took the time to email me about the issues and sort out the issue. Super grateful bc I’ve had bad experiences with other companies where it was a constant back and forth and promises weren’t fulfilled. I have been a regular customer of Aelfric Eden because I love their clothing. It is well made great material and style. On occasion an item has been out of stock due to its popularity and customer service has been great about either replacing the item with equal or greater value or giving you the option of getting a certificate for a little extra than you paid for the inconvenience. So you really don't come out losing much at the end. Regular coupons on the site also keeps me coming back they always have good deals on their site.
