What people say

This might seem petty

This might seem petty, but I was at the AMC web ginn dine in movie theater in Snellville Georgia. I have grown accustomed to a movie experience. I ordered popcorn and a Coke and I'm now told that I can't even get extra popcorn salt on the popcorn it was actually suggested on one of the websites that I bring my own. Theaters are struggling as it is to get people to come to them. I have an 85 inch TV at home that I could watch movies on so when they hit you with, admittedly, a small inconvenience it really irritates me. This is a theater That makes meals for you and yet they can't accommodate a request for additional popcorn salt.

I have a $50 gift card

I have a $50 gift card. I have tried 4 times to use it on merchandise. There's no place to enter a gift card. There are no amc theaters near me. I've emailed 4 times now to ask what to do only received one reply that said " gifts cards can only be used for the amount" what???? Why are these companies allowed to sell gift cards they don't intend to honor. I think I'll ask the FTC that question.

Worst experience EVER!

Paid 24 dollars for the ticket on-line and when checking out they charged me an additional 5 dollars for a convenience fee, I’m disabled and when I got to the theater there was about 8 handicapped parking spaces for 15 theaters? Ended up having to walk over a 100 yards just to get in! In line with my printed ticket the guy doing the scan took like 5 minutes and told me there was something wrong with it and he couldn’t let me in but the girl doing the other line tried and it went through immediately. Paid 8 dollars for a soda and when I tried to use the self-serve soda machine the brand I wanted was out on all 3 machines! When entering and leaving the theater they left the lights off even thou there weren’t even playing previews, Again I’m handclapped and had extreme trouble getting up and downstairs in the dark and had people bumping into me all the way! It’s been a few years since I went to the movies and it’s become abundantly clear why I haven’t and why I’ll never go back again. This was AMC 15 @ Tucson foothills mall!

They Do Not Care or Do Their Jobs!

If you have a penchant for incinerating your hard-earned money to subsequently experience harassment level disrespect with a side of cinema, by all means, please visit AMC Theaters. Only here, can you truly appreciate the dishonesty and cowardice of management as they disregard their own policies and promises of theater etiquette, while attempting to belittle you AND threaten to contact police for your multiple complaints of talking, phone use, and witnessing teens recording the movie, while doing absolutely nothing to those disregarding the rules and crippling the atmosphere. This is why theaters are dying and movies are going to video within a matter of weeks. Those who go to truly enjoy the experience of a big screen movie no longer want to experience indecent movie-goers and incompetent staff that allow trouble to stay. It's no wonder projectors and home entertainment systems are becoming more professional grade and popular.

Awful Fees

My son received an AMC gift card for his birthday. When using the online system to buy tickets, I was charged a convenience fee of nearly $5. When I needed to change the date immediately after booking and realizing the wrong date was selected, the company only refunded the price of the two tickets ($7 each) amd wanted to charge another convenience fee of $5. So I would be paying $10 in convenience fees for $14 worth of tickets. When I contacted the company, they didn't even try to help. The phone system and online contact systems are near impossible to navigate and find someone to actually talk to. If you are super persistent and finally find a way to get a person. they are not even a little helpful. Do not recommend at all!

Me and my sister went to see working…

Me and my sister went to see working man in Amherst NY. The theater was so cold it was soo uncomfortable to watch the movie. I told someone that worked there and went back to my seat...still trying to watch the movie..still freezing..I don't really know if we're suppose to bring comforters but if we ever go again we will...😡😡😡😡😡

Worst Customer Experience

Need to fix AMC A-List program. Allow for photo verification in the account and use of app to verify the customer. Allow digital student IDs to work. Schools do not issue a physical card anymore. There seems to be a lack of common sense from management all the way down. Three of four family members had physical IDs, but we were told to drive home and get the fourth persons physical ID. Spending $100 a month for this service is 100% unacceptable.

AMC corporate has malpractices when it…

AMC corporate has malpractices when it comes to giftcards. I was given a giftcard for my birthday and the pin was unreadable , so we requested a replacement card 11 weeks ago. We didn't received anything. Our money was stolen and my damaged giftcard has 0 balance. Where the money went.??? Please do not buy any giftcards from this company, they are thieves.

Excellent Customer Service

Today I went to AMC at 826 Albion St In Denver. I had the pleasure of dealing with Maggie a Supervisor. I am having an Oscar party and needed two tickets for seniors. She pulled me from the line of customers and said she would be able to help me. She suggested I purchase a gift card because I didn't know what movie they would attend She was such a pleasure to work with and made the experience a true customer satisfaction. She knows customer service

Wrong address

They so called corrected and sent my package to another state, not even the same town name, so I’m connected on how they even got it mixed up. They had 9 days to fix it before it got to the carrier. No resolve. The product is limited and sold out. I can’t even order another. My 16 yo worked hard to pay for the item. I’m praying whoever gets the package returns to sender.

No refund on fees

Don't use the AMC website to book tickets in advance unless you are perfect and don't make mistakes. My wife booked and paid for 2 tickets for a show and then immediately realized she had picked the wrong day. She requested a refund right away, but they did NOT refund the "fees" only the ticket price. Not cool. Quite the scam.
