Hopefully, the tree inside the box will be in better condition. The box is slit open on one side on both ends??? I have no intention of taking the tree out until mid-November, but I am wary about the condition of the tree ~ Balsam Tree did respond to this review. They, of course, were sorry about the way the shipment arrived!! And then, suggested I examine the tree ASAP. It’s July, I am a widow - I will need assistance when I put this tree up, but I should seek it now so I can check on the condition of the tree?? Yes, there is a “limited” warranty and I can send the tree back - - at my expense of course. Their reply “sounds” caring, “sounds” good. Designed to sound like they care ~

I didn’t get a notification saying my tree had arrived so it’s been in a hot garage for two full days. And when I found it, it was ripped open. The quality I’m sure is great, but the delivery was terrible

Great company for more than just Christmas
Great company — the absolute pinnacle of artificial Christmas trees that look real. What we found out was that their non-holiday wreaths also look realistic. In fact, we hung the large lavender spring wreath on our front door, and a bird that was building a nest attempted to remove leafs and flowers. Fortunately, they were secured in place and after several attempts the avian interloper threw up her wings and departed.
Gorgeous, but will not last.
Our Balsam Hill tree is very pretty. We have been thrilled with the general appearance. However, once the tree is 3 years old and out of warranty, Balsam Hill will not allow you to purchase any replacement parts/sections. With that being said, I have a $2K tree that I have been able to use for 3 years and it is now rendered useless and needs to be thrown away. Had this tree lasted longer, I'd give Balsam Hill 5 stars. Unfortunately, given this, I will never purchase a Balsam Hill tree again.

Quality tree with impressive packaging. Easy to follow instructions. Absolutely beautiful presentation. I would order again.
Company service is questionable.
1) The product, I'm sure, shipped from the factory fine. I had to unpack it and set it up to verify its integrity as it arrived in a highly damaged, open and retaped box. Fortunately, there was only minimal damage. 2) I was promised a $50.00 reduction in price for signing up for e-mail and text notifications. The reduction was not applied to my order. When I notified the company, I was told that I would receive a code in 2-4 days and then could send it in and a credit would be placed on my charge account. It has been nearly 2 weeks and I have heard nothing from the company other than text messages almost daily attempting to sell me other products. This was my first time ordering from this company, and I will have to think long and hard about ever doing it again.

False advertising
The description on Balsam Hill's website says that their "Most Realistic" trees are "True to nature from tip to trunk", whereas "Realistic" trees are "a mix of foliage for realism and fullness. I ordered the "Most Realistic" classified Frasier Fir, and each branch (except the top section) is 50% TrueNeedle and 50% classic needle. From reading other reviews, it seems as though this isn't a mistake, it's just how this is sold. This seems to clearly match the description of "Realistic", not "Most Realistic", yet the tree is listed as "Most Realistic". EDIT: In response to the reply from Balsam, that's a completely reasonable design decision. The issue is that it's not what their website says. Their website says "true to nature from tip to trunk". Not "true to nature from tip halfway until trunk".

10' Outdoor Radiant Peony Garland
I ordered the 10' Outdoor Radiant Peony Garland. I ordered it for a baby shower, but it will be used for future events like Easter as well. It was perfect. I have a skinny mantle and it had just enough give to bend it so that it would stay and mold to my mantle. I highly recommend. I look forward to ordering from them for other products in the future.
