Great experience

Purchase of a Battery Pack for an old HP Pavilion Laptop

I have a HP Pavilion laptop I bought in 2014. I was considering upgrading, but I decided instead to try to find somewhere that still sold a Li-ion Laptop Battery Pack for the old machine and possibly upgrade the Operating System so I'd need a largish Flash Drive to back up the original OS. I contacted HP suppliers in the UK to try to get the Battery Pack with no luck. However, one of them suggested battdepot.com. I put in Battery Pack for HP Pavilion 15-p189na in battdepot.com Search and it showed me Battery Packs with either a one or two year warranty. I ordered the one with a one-year warranty and also a SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB 3.0 Flash Drive 32GB. They both arrived sooner than promised before Christmas and I am writing this review on the same Laptop which now contains the BattDepot Battery Pack. My experience with this company has been first rate.

Not Sure I would recommend for long term use.

I purchased the battery for an A1398 MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), back in October of 2021. The install process was straight forward, and things has been fine; however, I don't use the MBPR all the time. To be more specific, my charge cycle count since the battery replacement is sitting at 15. As of today 12-29-23, the battery capacity is sitting at 6819 mAh, which is a significant degradation from the original 8755 mAh rating with only two years of use and a 15-charge cycle count. Not good considering the original battery from Apple, didn't start failing until around a 550-charge cycle count. I went today from 89 to a 9% charge in less than 30 minutes of minimal use.

I ordered a battery for my Lenovo X250…

I ordered a battery for my Lenovo X250 from Battery Depot. It worked for about 3 days. Then completely dead. Laptop would not work with it installed. Removed battery and laptop works on power cord. returned battery to Battery Depot. Tracking shows they received it. 12 days passed, no refund. Contacted credit card company, instant refund. Waste of time, selling cheap chinese junk batteries.
