Absolute worst customer support I've…

Absolute worst customer support I've ever experienced I accidentally clicked on the wrong realm during a rush and used a $50 level boost on a character on a server where I can't even play with my friends, since paid transfers don't exist on Anniversary realms. My character is completely stock—fresh out of the boost, 0 gold, zero items, a completely blank slate. I contacted support asking for a simple character move or a boost refund. Instead of any actual help, I got generic bot-like replies from GMs like "Hamederis" refusing to do anything and trying to milk more money out of me by forcing me to pay another fee. It's hilarious how 3 years ago GMs were freely helping Ukrainian players out, but now they can't even move a brand-new blank character or refund a boost. Absolutely zero willingness to help, purely focused on squeezing cash out of players for a single honest mistake. Best player support system in the world! Never giving them another cent.

So much room for improvement.

Blizzard lacks moderators for their games. I mean you can genuinely tell they dont care anymore. The ranking system is broken. And when players grief each other, there are no consequences. Ive been a customer/fan for over 25 years. But I am forever leaving their platform and games. Constant afk players. Constant team killers. The list goes on! I simply will not waste any more time on them.

I bought Blizzard's Anniversary Bundle…

I bought Blizzard's Anniversary Bundle because it was supposed to be a celebration of the games I have enjoyed for years. The bundle included cosmetics and mounts for both World of Warcraft and Diablo IV. It was meant to be something joyful—a way to celebrate Blizzard's anniversary. Instead, it became one of the worst customer support experiences I have ever had. The problem was never with the World of Warcraft items. The problem was that the Diablo IV content did not appear in my game after purchase, despite the transaction being completed successfully. This was clearly a technical issue with Blizzard's own systems or the synchronization between Battle.net and Steam—not with my purchase. I expected customer support to investigate why the content was missing. Instead, no investigation was performed. No one checked my account. No one tried to identify why the entitlement had not been delivered. The simplest solution—a refund—was chosen without attempting to solve the actual problem. Believing my purchase had failed, I submitted a refund request. Shortly afterward, the issue resolved itself. The Diablo IV cosmetics finally appeared in my account. As soon as that happened, I immediately updated my support ticket and clearly stated that the problem had been resolved and that my refund request should be disregarded. That message was completely ignored. The support representative processed the refund anyway. What happened next made the situation even worse. Not only were the Diablo IV items removed, but all of my transmogs disappeared, including transmogs from World of Warcraft—a game that had absolutely nothing to do with this support ticket and was never mentioned as part of the problem. A temporary technical issue had now become a customer service disaster. Everything that followed was entirely preventable. If the support representative had simply read the latest message before taking action, none of this would have happened. Instead, I am now expected to wait up to 14 business days to receive money for a refund that I explicitly said I no longer wanted. To make one thing absolutely clear, I have already purchased the Anniversary Bundle again with my own money. I did this because I do not want anyone to suggest that I was trying to obtain free content or take advantage of Blizzard's refund policy. I wasn't looking for free items. I wasn't looking for compensation. I simply wanted the product I had paid for. Instead, I ended up paying for the same bundle twice, spending additional time dealing with support, and waiting for money that I never wanted refunded—all because Blizzard Customer Support failed to read a single message before taking irreversible action. What disappoints me the most is that this bundle was supposed to symbolize celebration and appreciation for Blizzard's community. Instead, it has become a reminder of poor customer service, negligence, and a complete lack of attention to customers. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend that anyone spend money on this Anniversary Bundle. More importantly, I cannot recommend spending money on optional Blizzard products at all while this is the level of customer support the company provides. A company that encourages players to invest in cosmetics, mounts, and premium bundles should also be capable of resolving technical problems professionally when they occur. Unfortunately, my experience showed the opposite. As long as support representatives can ignore customers' messages, process requests that were explicitly withdrawn, and remove unrelated content without properly reviewing a case, I believe players should think very carefully before investing additional money into Blizzard games beyond what is necessary to play. Customer support exists to solve problems. In my case, Blizzard Customer Support created a much bigger problem than the original technical issue ever was. I sincerely hope Blizzard investigates how this ticket was handled, improves its internal procedures, and ensures that future customers are treated with the professionalism and care they deserve.

Insanity

The company basically logged me out and deleted my own account. Blamed it on parental controls when I never had any in place. Wouldn’t send a verification email. Absolutely number support phone number or even an email. The lack of a number alone is unimaginably horrible. The waste of my hours trying to recover my own account for my own game is insane. I was about ready to buy the new BO1 and BO2 games too, but now I will never buy an activation or blizzard product in my life!

I started playing WOW for the first…

I started playing WOW for the first time a couple of months ago, as I had just had surgery and couldn’t walk, and this was one of the few things my partner and I could do together. I was suddenly banned from my account and told that I violated the terms of agreement. I appealed multiple times, as I never knowingly violated any terms of agreement. Not only did the appeal process ever engage with what I was saying, they refused to tell me what I did. I have a feeling that not only was it an ai system that banned my account, but it was also likely ai that I interacted with during the appeal/customer support process. I’m definitely disgusted with Blizzard.

A company that likes to promote bullying

A company that likes to promote bullying in mass. They don't review tickets that you turn in unless it is in mass, even then they don't review anything just go on what a group says. 0 investigation on anything . So if you aren't hanging out in a group you are prone to being bullied by those that are. And they promote this attitude. They would rather just assume 'they' were right and move right along. Even if you get the support to admit they may have screwed up there is nothing they will do to recover your account. Absolutely abysmal customer support with 0 care.

Worst customer service: DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

This is NOT the old school Blizzard anymore. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. After getting a surprise action on Overwatch, I decided to request my data via GDPR to try and find out why. When I could not find why, I got in touch with CS (worried I'd been hacked or something.) Cue a back and forth over SEVEN tickets where they would not/could not answer the most basic questions imaginable (in this case: 'Why was this account actioned?') Now I'm getting further threats to my account from CS for needing to contact them so much (because they kept giving me bot copy/paste replies that told me nothing for seven tickets.) The only other type of 'CS' I have seen behaving this way are for companies of 'GPT scams' (GPT= 'get paid to.') Their MO is almost identical. Either they don't have the information, and the action is false. Or they are deliberately withholding information and are breaking UK law. This CS would walk over broken glass to avoid doing their jobs. I'm closing my WoW account of 20 years. I'm now looking to report this company for GDPR law violations. This kind of business practice for a multi billion dollar company like Blizzard is entirely unacceptable.

Sold out multiples times but this last one takes the cake. Got rid of all of their in-game support. Will auto resolve your ticket, then remove your ability to submit a new one. Directing you to the forums that no one at Blizzard reads. Chefs kiss

Worst customer service for such a money rich company.

Blizzard not only has some of the worst customer support for a Billion Dollar company, but their customer support is impossible to find. They have GM's that make decisions and close the ticket with no ability to appeal or get help beyond initial contact. Enjoyable'ish games but the WORST customer service.

Don`t waste your time with customer support. Go over and play something else.

-10 Terrible Customer Support – Made Me Wait A Full Season Just To Close My Ticket I got scammed out of my token by blizzard and Blizzard's support has been a nightmare. They literally told me to wait a full season to get my token back. I did exactly what they asked and waited months. After all that waiting, they just closed my ticket with zero resolution and gave me stupid, nonsensical excuses. I provided clear proof, but they completely refuse to take accountability for their mistakes. Absolutely awful experience. At lest I learned not get close to anything connected to them. Well done people you deserve your 1 star, even this is to much, and I hope we get the option to give negative numbers.

I purchased Call of Duty

I purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 during a sale and the payment was completed successfully, but the game never appeared in my Battle.net library. I contacted Blizzard Support and provided proof of purchase and payment. Unfortunately, despite clearly explaining that the issue was a missing license/account association problem, I repeatedly received generic troubleshooting instructions about installation, Modify Install, and reinstalling the Battle.net app. Those solutions were not applicable because the game was completely missing from my library, meaning I could not access any installation options in the first place. The most disappointing part was that the tickets were closed without a real verification of the purchase/license on my account. I hope Blizzard improves the way purchase and missing-license issues are handled, because customers who have already paid for a product should not spend days explaining the same issue without receiving an account-level check.

For several years now

For several years now, every attempt to make a purchase through Battle.net has ended with a “technical error.” During all this time, nothing has changed. It is astonishing that a company of Blizzard's size cannot provide something as basic as a functioning payment system. To make matters worse, updating the Battle.net client often takes an absurdly long time, and this clearly has nothing to do with my internet connection. The launcher regularly behaves as if it is struggling with tasks that other platforms handle effortlessly. At this point, I can only conclude that either the people responsible for these systems are profoundly incompetent, or the leadership responsible for overseeing them is. Personally, I am inclined to believe the latter. Eventually, you stop even trying to spend money because failure becomes the only predictable outcome. The entire experience is frustrating, disappointing, and reflects very poorly on Blizzard as a company. As far as I am concerned, Blizzard has earned a permanent place on my personal blacklist. For the rest of my life, I will continue to cite this experience whenever friends, colleagues, or acquaintances ask me which companies I would advise them to avoid. When problems this basic remain unresolved for years, it suggests a level of incompetence somewhere within the organization that I simply cannot overlook.
