Budsies did a really good job bringing my son’s drawing to life. The plush looks very close to the original picture he drew, which was the most important thing to us. They were also very kind and communicative throughout the process. They reached out to confirm color choices, and I trusted their judgment on what would look best, which I appreciated.
There were a few minor issues that made the plush feel slightly unfinished, or possibly intentionally left that way. The hat is very floppy since there is no stuffing inside, and it is only stitched in four sections, leaving openings where fingers can easily go inside the hat. Another point is the star globe staff. Budsies did notify me ahead of time that it would be considered an accessory and required an additional $22 charge, which I agreed to and paid. However, the final result of the staff was a bit disappointing. It is very flimsy and does not hold up like a staff should.
I did purchase the sneak preview and approved the final design, not realizing how noticeable some of these small details would be in person, especially how flimsy the staff is. That said, overall, I am still happy with the finished look of the plush despite these issues.
Most importantly, my kiddo is happy with it too, though he also noticed and was a bit annoyed by the same points. Overall, it’s a lovely keepsake with great effort put into matching the artwork, just with a few details that could be improved.

Hi Jeanne!
Thanks for your review and feedback! We're happy to know that your kiddo likes the way their Magic Snowy Budsie turned out overall! Our designers always do the absolute best they can with each plushie! For the staff, they made it as stiff as possible with it being plush and not a hard material, and for the hat we'll share your notes with our team for the future too! We're honored to have been able to bring Magic Snowy to life. You can always email us any other questions at [email protected]. 💙
The Budsies are absolutely perfect. Look just like my grandkids drawings and they are very well made. I cannot wait for Christmas to see my grandkids reaction. Thank you so much.

Hi Katherine!
We're honored to have been able to bring your daughter's art of Roxy the winged kitty corn to life! Our designers had the best time making her character, the colors she chose for her character are all so pretty! We hope when she sees it on Christmas she loves it too. 💙
My child had a very specific vision and the Budsies team worked closely with us to bring it to life. There were a few small design hiccups along the way, but the preview option made it easy to request adjustments, and the team was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. Their communication was consistent, and they made sure the final plush arrived on time for Christmas. The finished product is adorable, and I cannot wait to see my child’s reaction. I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into creating such a special keepsake and would happily recommend Budsies.

I am still waiting for it. The holiday has it super late and I know not your fault but your tracking system isn't helpful at all. My daughter (8) is getting super discouraged. Its December 10th.

Hi Danielle!
We're so sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with our tracking system! We try to be as clear as possible and offer multiple ways to track your order while its on its way to you. We checked with our team, and they tracked the order which said it was delivered this week! We hope your daughter loves her Budsie of Miss Wolf! If you still have questions for us, please feel free to email [email protected]. We'd be happy to help more from there! We appreciate your feedback. 💙
It was delivered almost a month late. So know that when you order. Overall, I was pleased with the end result. It seems to be a quality product. The one I ordered was for a birth so being a month late in delivery was not ideal. However the detail was very nice.

Hi Terrance!
We appreciate your review! For our Budsies, we always try to make plushies as quickly as possible! Since they're all custom and handmade, sometimes they can take a bit longer with production and shipping time, especially with additional upgrades! We apologize for any inconvenience, and we're glad the plushie's outcome was to your liking. We hope having the plushie has already begun to bring you and your loved ones lots of joy! We're always here at [email protected] if you have any other questions. 💙

Very well made plush, the budsies team did everything I ask for. I like to thank the Sewer and designer, and the support who helped me keep updated when the website was having issues with my account.

They don't communicate the process or read messages properly. Also, the Budsies are made in China.
I feel pretty scammed, I saw a lot of positive reviews on Budsies and saw how closely they were able to follow references, but unfortunately they seemed to miss the mark on mine. My characters were very simple, and all the proportions arrived very wacky. The pieces of the face are so unprofessionally cut, a child could've made it. The arms aren't even stuffed on one of them, and they feel like they could easily tear. I was also under the impression these were made in the USA, the website itself states they are based in Florida I believe. Nothing against China, but the fact that the toys are sent over there to be made raises some questions. Also, they charge you extra to provide proofs of your plushies, which is a big red flag, it is not normal to do business this way. Other sellers would update you consistently. I also provided a description of how I wanted one of the plushies to look, but they completely ignored it, I understand if they are not able to do it, but they should have communicated that to me. Overall, disappointed. For such a high price, I expected higher quality. I recommend contacting an independent plush maker, they will put more care into the creation of your plush.

Hi Edie!
We're so sorry to hear that you're unhappy with how your Budsies of Xiao-Shing and Miu turned out! Our designers and team always do their best to make your plush look as close to your character art as possible! We are based in Florida with designer help overseas to keep quality high and costs down for our customers. Our artists are very talented and work hard to make each plushie by hand. The reason for the Sneak Peek cost is because we want to make sure the time and material cost is covered for our designers if changes are requested! We'd be more than happy to help more and see what we can do to end your Budsies experience on a high note! If you can, please email [email protected], and we'll be happy to assist you from there! 💙
It took such a long time to get the design, and when arrived, it was not what I was expecting.
