Well just went to pick up our RV that we dropped off at Georgetown Camping World back in March just to get the awning replaced. We got tired of being told someone would call us back the past few months even having corporate say the same thing and not calling back so we just drove the 1 hr and 20 min and got it not knowing what the status of it was. Apparetlntly it was done for a month and a half but they told us everything from people quitting to a heart attack. We looked it over real quick and left. Once we got home I plugged it in and I got a shore power fault and it wouldn't power up. I know when we dropped it off we had it plugged in the day before with no issue. This is a 2024 so it's not because it's old. This is a nightmare that just keeps getting worse.

DON’T BUY A CAMPER FROM CAMPING WORLD!

DON’T BUY A CAMPER FROM CAMPING WORLD!! I purchased a 2024 brand new Flagstaff Microlite camper in 2024 from the Kissimmee Fla store. At first I was very happy with it. It seemed to be a very nice unit.. Now I am having terrible problems with the Magic Chef refrigerator. It does not stay cold. I have followed the recommendations of keeping the food away from its vents and not putting a lot of food but twice now I have lost the coolness and had to take everything out and buy an extra refrigerator! THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN IN A 2 -3 year unit! I have called them. I donot have a big truck to haul the unit in so I have to have them come to me. They charge $250 just to come! (I am living locally so it is not far). Then they charge $250+ for labor! and they cannot come for more than a month! Terrible terrible service. I have also had trouble with the ac unit as well. This is the biggest mistake I have made to purchase an RV at Camping World. The manager says if you have a problem please talk to him but you can’t get through to him to talk to him! The unit cost me a LOT OF MONEY and I am still paying it off. What a mistake.I am very troubled and have had a lot of problems but once the warranty is out they do not help you at all .

Very Disappointed

I was going to order a Dometic FreshJet 3 Series R32 RV Air Conditioner Item #157407 Color White BT U 15,000 from their website, I chose the option to pick up in store at the Concord N.C. location and the site noted One Left in Stock so because I am almost 2 hours away, I called to verify it was in stock. The associate I spoke with looked and confirmed it was in stock and had it pulled out for pickup when I arrived. When I did arrive the associate I spoke with had already left and the associate behind the parts desk informed they were in the process of installing it on an RV, as you would imagine, I was in pure disbelief and disgust that this could happen, the only option I was offered was to order another one which I could have easily done from home or I could purchase another model that was the wrong color, different model number and much more expensive. I chose neither option and will purchase from another supplier that is more conciencience of their customer satisfaction and commitment.

Buyer beware

Well, let’s start off in uxbridge first time campers we went in asking if we find a camper anywhere can we get it shipped here he said yes I said how much does it cost he said it is free. We went in looking at 5th wheels but I changed my mind wanting a traveling trailer because our truck was set for that. When finding a camper in New Hampshire he sent me an estimate and it had a $750 pick up fee on the bill. So they lost our service we went to west Boylston where we were able to walk through the 2026 I went with the 2025 as it was 4k cheaper. Well boy did I get sold a fraudulent trailer. None of the appliances match the manufacturer model and serial numbers. There was 12 things wrong when I got it onsite after having looked at it appears a tree may have fallen on it they threw it back together probably thinking who would figure it out. Well thank you father God you brought to my attention. We didn’t even get a walk through on the 2025. Taking advantage of people isn’t right. But I will be getting a brand new trailer as I contacted Massachusetts AG and they can fix it or I can get a new one. With the pain and suffering my family is facing because of a junk trailer I bought because they didn’t disclose they changed everything. The problems are only getting worse now. Best thing is if you don’t notice this and you try to get your camper fixed Forrest River said that nothing is under warranty now. But the people at camping world say it is. This is why so many people get claims denied saying it not under warranty. Camping world will fix it all but they have to get prior approval and with them changing things it would get denied. I don’t want anyone going through what we are

The absolute worst experience

The absolute worst experience. They sell items that aren't even shipped by this company. Companies that they sell items for are outside vendors who don't even ship within a decent time frame. You place your order and you wait two weeks before they even ship your order. Absolute worst don't purchase from this stupid company camping world

Camping World Greenfield,IN

Camping World Greenfield,IN (formerly Mt. Comfort RV) - Couldn't even look at campers without them requiring your information. I don't want to be bothered or blown up by a salesman. I simply wanted to look at campers without having to give out any personal information. Will choose to buy elsewhere.

I recently had a great experience with Camping World, and I want to give special recognition to Dom Cameron. From start to finish, the service was professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful. Dom took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions without rushing, and made sure I felt confident in my decision. The overall process was smooth, and the team worked together well to get everything handled quickly. It’s rare these days to find someone who combines product knowledge with real customer care, but Dom absolutely delivered on both. I left feeling valued as a customer and very satisfied with the experience. I would definitely recommend Camping World and especially Dom Cameron to anyone looking for honest, straightforward service.

I purchased an RV at Bowling Green…

I purchased an RV at Bowling Green Camping World believing I was dealing with a reputable company. Within 7 days, we discovered serious hidden roof damage that resulted in over $7,000 in repairs to the roof that clearly had prior damage and the prior owner confirmed it. However, even with evidence showing the damage existed before the sale, the “as is” contract protected the seller. I may have lost in court, but I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid making the same mistake. I’m sharing this simply so others do their homework, inspect carefully, and understand that trust in a major company name does not always equal transparency. Please carefully inspect EVERYTHING before buying from Camping World. Bring someone along that is knowledgeable in RV’s and don’t trust their salesmen. The picture of our roof upon opened up is on their Bowling Green Facebook page. Lots of long term damage they tried covering up with new caulking …

I was pestered to come in telling me they could guarantee credit so I did was denied credit and they have gave me the runaround on getting my $1500 deposit back. I would not suggest dealing with them at all. They just seem to be concerned about the money factor and that is it. They are horrible people just supporting the corporate greed of America. That’s wrecked us. I will sue and bring up a lawsuit if they do not give me my money.

This place is a joke

This place is a joke. It took me 30 mins to get a salesperson. The salesperson who first waited on me said that he didn’t know anything about the trailer because he work in accessories. The second salesman didn’t tell me anything about the travel trailer or warranty. He didn’t help me with the trailer hookup. The finance manager said that the roof isn’t warranty and I had to buy a warranty for 2100 dollars to cover it. I bought a new travel trailer. The guess the manufacturer doesn’t have very much confidence in the quality of there product. I will never buy anything from camping world.

My girlfriend went to buy a 2022…

My girlfriend went to buy a 2022 Winnebago Travato. She brought cash. They convinced her to to finance so they could lower the price. Obviously kick back from the finance company. They told her to keep the loan for 6 months and a day. When we got home she decided not to pay the finance charge and once the finance company got the paperwork she paid it in full that day. So now they can't find the title. The temp tag expires today. Still no title. In addition, this vehicle only has 30k miles. They said that it had been gone through a multi point inspection. The guy walking us through mentioned they had a problem with the awning. He did extend about 4 inches and said they must have fixed the problem. He couldn't extended it all the way as it was parked right next to another camper.so we take it to an over night to check everything. Awning won't open! So now we are on another over night. No water from faucets or toilet. In addition they made us sit for 45 minutes trying to talk her into a warranty. Wouldn't take no until we finally got pissed and were ready to walk on the deal. $80k f'ing dollars!! Do not buy anything from them

Campsite Reserve Ultra 26CJ…

We bought a Campsite Reserve Ultra 26CJ in the fall of 2025. We stored it until the Spring of 2026 (7 months) so we didn't know there was an issue with the tankless water heater until then. Camping World in Wentzville Missouri took care of it for us at no charge and had it ready 2 weeks later so we wouldn't have to cancel a scheduled trip. On that subsequent trip we had an issue with the water leaking again. We called Nick the next morning. He told us to bring it right in and he had the water pump replaced while we got lunch. Maybe they are the exception but we have treated very well by Nick and his crew at Camping World in Wentzville Missouri.

I bought a 2025 used destination…

I bought a 2025 used destination trailer. while they did deliver it for me, they did not bring any of the items needed to set it up. no cords, no hoses. they did not fill the gas tanks up, nor did they even clean the unit. i found a dirty tampon squished beside the used mattress that they told me would be replaced with a new one. after three phone calls and being told they saw them fill the gas tanks up twice (untruth) they finally sent out the box that i needed to hook the camper up. it was supposed to include two diff amp power cords that were missing as well as the water hose. they did finally send out my water hose and cord but every one i spoke with acted like i was trying to get over on someone or steal gas when i spent $70,000! I do not recommend. even the corporate office was uninterested in having a happy customer. i have been very disappointed. i was dealing with the Valdosta, ga location

Six month weight for #Warranty items on new RV

Bought brand new Grand Design. Took it out once for initial check and had a list of easy fix, no parts warranty items. We did not get unit back for six months. The only part that needed to be ordered was not ordered till the end end it wasn’t even put through as expedited, after waiting six months. When we got the RV back the simple fix items either or not done, done incorrectly, or just plain shit work. Some of the #Warranty items we were charged for. My husband ended up fixing many of the items as we will never take our RV to camping world again. Thank goodness grand design is working with us as well.

True customer service

When I went in to get my camper de-winterized, Joey Buchalla was extremely helpful. I came in Just and apparently the special for free winterization was over but he gave me that service for free anyway. Thank you Joey for true customer service.

quantity over quality

sales team Okay, finance extremely unorganized. doesn't return calls. when I gave them my mailing address they continued to use the address I asked them not to use. So I don't have my new loan info, license plate, etc... and they didn't pay my trade in in full so I received a late payment notice. even when speaking with them you can tell they aren't really paying attention to your requests. they tried to sell me some big new camper person package, I said no. but when I wanted to do a walk through of my camper they said my brand new camper was "as is" because I didn't buy the package that included a bunch of crap I didn't need. so they rushed me through walking through my camper. when I found issues later they were unwilling to assist until I came into the store and in front of the finance guy. they care about quantity of sales rather than quality of service.
