This was simply a horrible experience

This was simply a horrible experience, from the office setup to the attitude of the workers, to the treatment, it was really bad. The "exam" was performed in a makeshift office without privacy; the technicians were unfriendly, did not introduce themselves, and seemed unwilling to be there. This was my first appointment. I went there as I had recently moved, and I have healthy teeth and make sure I see a dentist twice a year. They told me that I had cavities and required a "deep cleaning" at an additional cost because of my excessive tartar buildup, and they could not perform a "normal" cleaning. Of course, I asked what the price was, and it was expensive. I said "no thanks" and went to a real dentist. The dentist performed a routine cleaning and confirmed I did not have any cavities requiring fillings. I would avoid this office at all costs.

Really one of the best dental offices in Williamsburg. Great experience every time I visit. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and are highly experienced and professional.

Took my money and ran

Took my money and ran. They said they had a Boston office and made appointments twice and cancelled both appointments saying they had not opened yet. They have no customer service. Just AI. Don't joint his scam.

They tried to Gaslight me

I had an appointment this morning which I checked in within the grace period, and proceeded to wait in the lobby to be seen - as there is no one on the actual floor from Wally to speak with. 12 minutes later someone came out to try and gaslight me and tell me I had missed the check in grace period. Of course I said, that is not true and proceeded to show the text confirmation I received after checking-in in time. I was then told that I was not in the waiting area, which of course I was, as I had only taken the elevator straight up to the We work floor where their "offices" are. Finally they offered to reschedule me to another day/time even though I was present in a timely manner for my appointment. All in all a horrible experience and worse customer service. I will not be renewing.

It’s really difficult to get an appointment and even when you do get one- they change it without warning. This is the third time they shuffled me and I can’t go! Also they give you these stupid grades but they don’t give you a post visit summary. Very frustrating!!!!

I had a very positive experience with my cleaning at Wally! All staff and especially my hygienist were patient polite and professional. Wally uses the absolute latest in high-tech equipment.

The overall experience was great

The overall experience was great. However, I was surprised to be hit with a $780 follow-up visit, given the amount of marketing dedicated to "no upsells" and "membership flat fee." I understand the reasoning behind the charge, and don't dispute it - was just taken aback a little.

I think it’s a scam

Thought this was a really good deal considering i don’t have health insurance. I went in and got the x-rays and 3D scan before my cleaning. When it got to the cleaning they said it was going to be an extra $510 for “root cleaning” and a cavity protection. I walked out not having any teeth cleaned because “they can’t do it unless I got all those additions”. I think this place is a total scam and not worth it.

After 2 years of membership, I noticed a decline in the quality of care and increase in additional fees and pressure for additional services. I wanted to cancel my membership after a technician cut my gums during a routine xray and scan, but Wally hides behind AI bots - and it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human being. The system takes getting used to.

Got tired of a dentist nicking me for 120 bucks a pop every 3 months, plus extra for X-rays + 4%, so this Netflix-like system: flat rate per year for basic cleaning and X-rays, and unlimited trips sounded like a deal. Most of the action takes place via texts. Scheduling and the like. Then, the office is inside a WeWork space (Downtown Brooklyn). After a calendar sanfu getting the address wrong by 100, I settled in. No nurses or front-of-the-house staff. Just people working at tables, until I was led back to a cubicle. To chairs, separated by the screen. Intake included a full mouth scan (cool). The dress code was casual office, and the attitude was relaxed and helpful. Cleaning went quickly, but then we hit a miscommunication. I needed periodontal work (expected). Paid for it. (A bit cheaper.) Was told it wouldn't be here and I'd get a referral. It was actually that I needed to come back here and they would give me a referral only if their deep cleaning didn't work as well as expected, so I went a little nuts looking for a referral that wasn't coming. I just opened up the Wally app for help and saw my appointment. Today (5/13), I went for the perio work. Same place. Got the communication issue straightened out, and now, I get the flow better. It ain't a regular dentist's office. The terms are slight different from what I expected, but I've landed in Wally's world more fully. I expect the service to be good and run much more smoothly from now on.

Truly wonderful experience. The staff members were personable. The process was fully explained and all questions answered. The directions to the location were very helpful and thorough. Well thought out experience. The dental technology was impressive and the cleaning experience felt like pressure washing for your teeth. Lol. I would highly recommend it.
