Law violations regarding the disabled
I have unsubscribed from their emails 11 times and yet every single day they send another. I am deaf and cannot use relay. This phone is for emergencies only when my landline and internet are down. I have to communicate by chat or email. This company doesn't allow either, even though this violates ADA, Accessibility and Civil Rights laws, both federal and California. Consumer Cellular responded by claiming chat is available. For 6 months, it has not been. It clearly states it is NOT available no matter when you try. This is also illegal in California to have a link for communications that doesn't work.

Everything explained in detail — ease of transferring from previous carrier — was concerned about Consumer Cellular’s ability to offer the great coverage we had with TMobile — although it’s been just a very few weeks ago, everything is going very well -

Customer Service and Home Base
We are trying to move our landline phone to an IRIS Home Base. The Home Base arrived right on schedule but the porting process is stalled at our current carrier. Every interaction I've had with Consumer Cellular customer service has been STELLAR! Everyone has been courteous, understanding and helpful! What more can be expected?

The customer service experience was outstanding. It was so easy and efficient. I didn't have to do anything but stay on the phone with such a personable professional agent while she did all the work. I now have 4 bars where I live instead of 2. I am extremely satisfied.

Trustworthy, easy ordering and timely delivery!
I originally ordered a phone for my son's birthday from Samsung.com that was supposed to be delivered on the 24th, the day before, but after multiple times contacting via chat, could not get a straight answer let alone from a real person. So, after almost a week and no status update, I canceled and decided to order again as I have before, from Consumer Cellular, our carrier. It arrived in 2- 3 days and always have real live customer service agents available not chat bots. Very happy with our service and phone purchase!

It is the real thing…
For years I have received invitations to be part of consumer cellular but felt the adds were too good to be true. My sister in law raved about them so I gave it a try. The cost for cellular service is half what I paid with ATT. Transfer did take a few days but my old service worked until the transfer was complete and the agents in the store and on line were very helpful. If they would also have internet for the home I would be ecstatic

Loved the ease of switching via the website. Worst part was trying to navigate the e-sim via QR code, which would be difficult if I didn’t have two lines to use cameras to complete the task. Support staff was extremely helpful with questions regarding the plan. My signal seems better than the AT&T service I switched from.

I was treated very well by Rob my agent…
I was treated very well by Rob my agent at a Consumer Cellular store in Baltimore. It took only a few minutes for him change my phone from T-Mobile to Consumer Cellular. It has taken me a little effort to change my voice mail but otherwise I can't tell any difference in my phone's working. In fact it seems to stream TV better. and my bill will be half of what I would be paying.

Phone call to Consumer Cellular was…Great experience!
Phone call to Consumer Cellular was answered promtly by an Associate. We are in our 70's, just retired and wanted to save money but keep the good service we had with Verizon for over 20 years. The associate was so patient and friendly and walked me through changing two phone. The amount that we are saving is astonishing! So far, we could not be happier. Thanks to the associate!!

Very good customer service rep
Very good customer service rep (I didn't get his name) worked at length with us to set up the phone. The phone replaces a much older model, so we were having challenges transferring over data. We're still tweaking some glitches, but are overall happy with the phone.

The agent I spoke to was very friendly and kind. I shared my bad experience with another service and she said she could relate because she had the same issue with the same service I dealt with. It's important that agents are real and by sharing her story I knew she understood why I was switching. I chose consumer cellular was the pricing was a perfect fit for me. It showed me you care for the consumer by not gauging me with high prices and it made me feel at home. That's what I liked.
