I've been CC for about a week and so far it's been great. Better than when I was with T Mobile. Better reception and WAY, WAY better customer service. I will never go back to T mobile or Metro PCS. Thank you Consumer Cellular finally a company based in the US and on the ball. Worth the switch. I will tell everyone I know they should switch.

She went over and beyond anything she was asked to do, and even volunteered for more help than I expected. She is amazing and if I ever need anything else I will definitely contact her directly. Conversation with a live, clear-speaking human! We came to Consumer Cellular from TracFone/Verizon after repeatedly frustrating attempts to resolve cellphone problems - and not being able to speak with a human being. We largely chose C/C on the claimed basis of their superior customer service...and we have not been disappointed. They identified our Samsung phone, and expressed a sim card kit. Then we spoke with Jesus, a tech service person. He helped us navigate a labrith of hoops and holes, trying to unlock the TracFone device. This was done step by step, despite intentional obstruction by TracFone. Jesus showed confidence, skill, patience, and clear speaking. We rate him five stars! Our A-51 Galaxy phone works perfectl y - literally better than ever! Thank You! Dave Buckley ~ The Duffian.

After my initial order on line, I still needed a little help in setting everything up. I was able to get in contact on the phone with a knowledgeable customer service representative quickly who helped me with the set up of my account and transferring my number. Not as stressful as working with my previous carriers who were much more difficult.
In the past when I had consumer, no complaints. But google insists that code to old phone we haven’t had for a long time. This is taking to long to transfer my number. AT&T is ready a few hours after I requested transfer, but still after three days waiting on google, or consumer… I really don’t know who or what is the holdup. But I am ready to cancel and go to another carrier.
My experience with tech support agent(s) Shaikh (sp?) transferring my account from Astound Mobile to CC, was exemplary! I also received excellent tech support from Sierra (4) days later, dealing with an issue on my second line. Cudos to the both of them!
Very easy to Order and transfer the service to my new phone. Much easier than going to a store. You can do it from the comfort of your home within an hour
