After researching for a phone to fit my wife's needs we settled on a Motorola G Power 2026 model. After searching the internet for best pricing I tried AI which informed me that my own carrier, CC, had the best price, by quite a bit, so that was nice. The initial setup was easy except for one little glitch, she couldn't text or call but the apps and wifi were working. It was the weekend and CC CS was closed. After walking thru the steps I decided we would have to call for help the next morning but I did one last thing, I restarted it, voila! It worked! Turns out, like so many new phones, computers, TVs, they need to do an update the first time turned on that can take some time. Motorola did an update. All is good.

Do not do business with Consumer cellular it’s a scam, why? If you use your hot spot let’s say like 1 GB they charge extra 3 GB on top of that what use, do not use there Hot spot you will definitely be charged for what you didn’t use. Rip off , taking advantage of. Senior citizens, So Beware !!!

I’ve only had this for a couple of weeks. But I’m l ill ing it. Customer service was very knowledgeable and nice. (That’s not been the case from other companies). I actually have service which was iffy before. Price is great.

Went in person to Daytona Beach Branch. Purchased in cash the ultra S26Ultra. Transferred number. Put Sim card in husband's transfered number. Tried to do the same with daughter's phone,originally purchased from consumer cellular. He said it didn't work,phone was too old rude. Since lens had just been replaced,took it to repair store. They took sim card from husband's phone place it in the phone. It worked. Back to store rude tried said it didn't work. Directed me to corporate store on LPGA, drove to LPGA there is no store. Sure they had good laugh. Husband tried the 3rd store employee rude also said it wouldn't work. Even when we have proof it works. Ordering Sim card online for 3rd phone to complete ourselves. With so few brick and mortar stores Consumer Cellular needs to pick better representation in its employee's. The worse ever.

Service is good except RCS chat. Called in 3 or 4 times. Got groups i cant use.

So far we're just talking about a couple of days. So all I feel qualified to comment for is the transition. That was fantastic. If anyone is concerned about switching they guide you every step. They make it easy!

Consumer Cellular does a nice job of updating your phone and helps you with transferring your items over. But you have to understand not every app or ringtone is going transfer and you may have to add the apps you want to the new one. They will help you as much as they can and patience is great.

Constant signal loss! I've been contacting them for months now to no avail! I've screenshot every time it happens!, and it's a LOT! But all I get is the same old run around! There's better providers out there! DO NOT USE CONSUMER CELLULAR! Their ads are false! I can be in the Middle of Carmel or Zionsville Indiana and have the worst service!!

Excellent customer service! Easy transition of service from my previous iPhone 6 which stopped working after 11 years to a new unlocked iPhone 17 Pro Max on July 23, 2026. Previous phone was bought from Consumer Cellular in 2015. They had phone deals advertised. This is how I became aware of this great company and I am a customer ever since. I even had my monthly plan upgraded a few years ago without higher cost. Thank you Consumer Cellular!

Devin H at the Bethel Park store gave us a perfect experience. Not only were we changing carriers but we were also buying 2 of the new Iphone 17. All done (including data transfer) under 1.5 hours. I absolutely love consumer Cellular. Simple reason why I can understand customer service Representatives and they want me through everything that I need to walk through to understand what I'm doing also I had to switch devices while I still owe the payment which they are not supposed to allow to happen but supervisor was so nice and still transferred my number to another phone for me you can't beat that in customer service. Yes sometimes the internet is a little bit slow but it's worth it because my bill is in the $76 for two lines unlimited

I did a recent review as a positive experience. Now, after being on the CC network, I discovered after you reach your data limit, CC does not just slow your data down, they for the most part they pretty much eliminate your data, and block your ability to access your personal hotspot. So bad, I can't even access bank account, read news,pretty much Nothing! So, I am switching , bye bye!

Land line has been intermittent at best and got a run around with insurance on replacement phone provided by Allstate insurance which was refurbished and did not work. Most customer representatives tried to help, and one even told us to drive closer to a cell phone tower to activate the refurbished flip phone. Ended up going to Walmart and bought new flip phone which finally got up and running with good help from a patient representative. All of this would not be such a deal except it is needed for our 96-year-old dad who is also a war veteran and dependent on these phones as a lifeline for us all. I thought you would have stepped up and provided a $49 phone to us for such a customer-oriented company. Dropping all our insurance on phones and looking into new provider for our phone service.
