I recently installed a Sony XAV-AX6000 in my daughter's Honda HR-V because the factory stereo didn't have Apple CarPlay. During the installation, I ran into a wiring issue and called technical support. The technician was extremely knowledgeable, and together we determined that I appeared to be missing a cable. He immediately offered to send me a replacement at no charge. Later, I discovered that I had actually misplaced the cable, so the mistake was mine—not theirs. I called back, and they were able to cancel the replacement order. After I finished the installation, the steering wheel controls still weren't working. I contacted technical support again, and another technician patiently worked through the problem with me until everything was functioning perfectly. The steering wheel controls now work great. Every technician I spoke with was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to help me solve my issues without ever making me feel like I was asking stupid questions. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. Because of the outstanding support I received, I'll gladly continue buying from them in the future, even if they cost a little more than other retailers. Great products backed by exceptional customer service are worth it.
