At the customer service person recommendation I switch the cartridge filter system and so far it’s working great. A little loud but works well.

I thought I was saving money!
I thought I would save a little bit of money going online. I bought $100 item it wasn’t correct and it cost me $50 to return! I would not recommend this company to anybody WHAT A RIP OFF
False advertising and horrible customer service
The company advertises next day delivery on their products but then tell you afterwards "it is only next day sometimes for some people." Ask to speak to a supervisor and the first try will be another overseas contractor pretending to be a supervisor - 3rd try you get a real one (I think?). Since I needed my pool pump the next day I said I was going to refuse delivery - they said do not - they can re-route it and charge me $25 (for their mistake). Every step in the ordering process it referenced next day delivery - every single step. I can't even imagine the lack of service if something was wrong with the pump.

Only one that had the Latham step faceplate for a great price. First order it was back ordered so they canceled order and credited my account. Waited two weeks and ordered again. This time it shipped from manufacturer and received in 7 days. Great company that I order from often. This face frame was 400 dollars less than anywhere else!

Doheny warranties are worthless. Beware.
1.5 HP Doheny branded in ground pool pumps are garbage. We have purchased 7 pumps for various customers. 4 have failed in the first 6 months of operation. They advertise a 1 year warranty but after 3 months they will not pay for return shipping. 2 of the pumps needed to be returned at our cost of $125.00 ground ship each. Customer service told us that we should buy a better pump like a Hayward. So I said you know you are selling junk? She then got rude on the phone. Not only are the products junk the support staff are A-Holes. Beware of this scam company. They simply don't stand behind their warranties.

bait and switch?
Ordered a pool vac specifically with scheduling option. It arrived and did not have that option despite clearly being advertised as having the option. Customer service said that the manufacturer updated the model and it no longer had the scheduling. They would not replace it with another model which had scheduling. I was able to return it but then have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back to buy a new model. So I end up with no vac for 2 weeks. Feels more like a bait and switch.
