The Company that Lies through their TEETH!
The company is pretending to stand by their policy that states once an order reaches fulfillment, It cannot be cancelled! Everyone please know that I cancelled the order HOURS before it was processed and fulfilled. Doheney pools ignored my immediate need to cancel, and throughout the following day, they processed and fulfilled my order AFTER CANCELLATION. They will not refund me and will not allow me to refuse the shipment. They are as shady as all Hell!
I would buy from them again but definitely not the ladder
Shipment was quick and it was easy to order. Customer service is outsourced which can be frustrating but we were eventually able to get questions answered. The ladder … well I would not buy again. It floats and the war the bottom is designed could easily damage the liner . We had to strap the entire ladder to get it to relatively sit still.
Stay far away from Doheny’s
Stay far away from Doheny’s. They do not care about customer satisfaction at all. We have purchased numerous pool supplies over the years through them, but when we needed to replace our filter, we should have gone elsewhere. Our filter has never worked it vibrate so loud that we can’t run it because the neighbors would complain. We have been on the phone with them for over a year about this and they do not want to do anything about it. They’re only solution is for us to send it in and for them to send us a new one so we would be without a filter for two weeks and we can’t do that in June or our pool will be Green a filter should last longer than 12 months and they should back up their products if you’re going to make a major purchase for your pool do not make it at this company.
I bought a 21 foot pool from Doheney
I bought a 21 foot pool from Doheney. In one year’s time the screws around the skimmer which are supposed to be stainless steel rusted. Stainless steel doesn’t rust. I called to complain about it and they told me to go to a hardware store by new screws which amounted to about $50. They advertise 100% customer satisfaction.
Wrong product ordered
Wrong product ordered. Paid $63.48 total. Shipping was $9.99 and tax was $4.70 on the $48.79 product. A return FedEx label was emailed to me, I paid $2.52 for the UPS Store to print it off for me, and I sent it back to Doheny's. All I was refunded was $25.15 plus $1.00 ? ? I'm very disappointed, I will never buy anything from this company again. They said the Return FedEx label costed them $25.00 That is a LIE
$6,000 Purchase and They “Have No Clue” Where the Rest of It Is
I ordered an SR Smith TurboTwister pool slide through Donehy's Pool Supply for approximately $6,000 and only received HALF of the product. The shipment arrived missing the main slide section, making the product completely unusable. The packaging itself was labeled “Box 2 of 2,” clearly indicating multiple pieces were required, yet only one portion was delivered. Trying to get assistance from customer service was a nightmare. I spent over 25 minutes on hold before finally reaching someone, only to be told they “have no clue where the rest of the slide is.” That is not an acceptable response for a purchase of this size and cost. At this point, I have thousands of dollars tied up in a partial shipment sitting in my backyard with no answers, no accountability, and no urgency from the company to resolve the issue. Mistakes happen in shipping, but how a company responds is what matters. Unfortunately, Donehy’s customer service has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional throughout this process. If you are considering making a large purchase through this company, be aware that if something goes wrong, you may be left chasing answers on your own.
Great Quality, Customer Service and Fast!
I called on Thursday about a liner May 21st before Memorial Day after trying to open pool and saw liner was trashed from winter. Mat recommended that if I found a pattern that I liked, GLI was a 3 day turn around. I was skeptical since everyone else was saying 2 to 3 weeks. I found a pattern ordered Friday 22nd and recieved it May 28th from Ohio when opriginally quoted June 2nd. Liner was installed Sunday 31st and looks great.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS. I recevied the wrong item. I should have received a 3in chlorine tab dispenser I got a 1 in one. I went to the website the day I got it, there is absolutely nothing about how to return an item. After 2 days of calling and being told the computers where down and then put on hold for 15 minutes at a time. I was told they would take it back but charge $25 shiping. I am currenlty working with my credit card company to get the charge removed. Customer service is in India so they don't understand what your saying nor can you understand them. Save your money.

Watch out for deceptive price practices
Horrible company. They had a price on an item and when adding to cart price changed. Customer service wouldn’t do anything. I made a comment on their social media about this and they blocked me. What a horrible company. Can’t even take criticism when they are trying to commit fraud.
Wish I could leave a ZERO star
Wish I could leave a ZERO star. This Company has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER APPRECIATION. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. I placed a order due to the sale they were having trying to stock up for summer. I did not realize that Chlorine can not be stored in you home or built-in garage due to it being unsafe. Also I live in Arizona where the weather is extremely hot so the Chlorine can not be stored out side its too hot. A few hours after I ordered this I found out and immediately tried to call. They were closed it was Saturday afternoon when I placed the order the same Saturday a few hours later I tried to call, I sent messages, I also sent multiple emails explaining that I needed to cancel the order and why. The next day SUNDAY I also called and finally got someone on the phone who said they could not cancel the order. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO CUSTOMER APPRECIATION, NO CUSTOMER CARE YOUR SCREWED THE MINUTE YOU BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THIS ORDER HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED YET THEY ARE REFUSING TO CANCEL THE ORDER. AND WANT TO CHARGE ME SHIPPING THAT WAS FREE. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

They lie on their Amazon storefront. When you need to return, they charge you shipping and 20% restock fee. Rude and unwilling to help you. They apparently k ow they have bad reviews and dont care. This company needs to be taken down.
I purchased a filter cartridge cleaner
I purchased a filter cartridge cleaner and it does not work nothing like they claim, then I reached out to these people and they are telling me since I tried it and found out it does not work that is my problem and I can not return it I just have to keep it and of course no refund!! I deal a lot with pool suppliers since I am a service center for one of the big pool equipment companies and never had a experiences like this!! I would recommend buying some where else!!

I would rate zero if I could! Complete lack of customer service. I have the wrong part that they charged me a fortune for and I have no way to contact anyone there to get my money back! Lesson learned! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!!

Horrible Experience
I was charged full price from the merchant AND charged from the PayPal PayLater. They barely speak English and want me to cancel instead of removing their UNAUTHORIZED charge. Which incurs FEE’s and delayed release of funds. This was supposed to be stress free like all other company checkout portals. Instead the incompetence I’m dealing with is astounding. I will be utilizing all of my options and reporting these scammers to all necessary entities. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM unless you want to be ripped off and treated like you are the issue.
Excellent 1 hp Pool Pump
Bought a 1 hp inground pool pump. On-line ordering was excellent, was delivered quickly. Got it installed, it has to be the best pump I have had and I know that parts are available if needed through Doheny. Excellent in every respect. Very happy with my purchase.
Everything was wrong
Everything was wrong. Horrible customer service, if you can call it customer service. Ordered online, it gave a one day delivery. Confirmation gave 4 days to deliver and had some random address on it that is nowhere near me, in another city 2 hours away. I entered my home address on the online order form. Then when I call them to get it corrected, I'm told they can't correct it and I have to pay $20 for them to TRY to correct the address. Via email of course because reaching someone is impossible. Now, this product that I desperately needed is going to some random address and I'm just out the money. This company is horrible.
